- Génesis TorresSizeThe ToyerBee Telescope is a great choice for beginners, and it’s actually the second telescope I’ve bought—this one to enjoy stargazing with my son. It’s from a different brand than my first one, but the quality is excellent. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and gives clear views of the moon and nearby planets. The phone adapter and wireless remote are nice extras that make it simple to take pictures. Overall, it’s a well-made, portable telescope that’s perfect for learning and sharing the night sky together.
- AJPerfect Beginner Telescope for the Whole FamilyI bought this telescope for my son who just started getting interested in space, and it’s been amazing! The setup was super easy — we had it ready to use in about 10 minutes. The build quality feels solid yet lightweight, so it’s easy to carry outside or take on trips.
The image clarity is surprisingly good for a beginner telescope. We’ve been able to clearly see the Moon’s craters and even caught a glimpse of Jupiter’s moons on a clear night! The adjustable magnification (15X–150X) gives plenty of options for both wide and close views.
The included phone adapter and wireless remote are great extras — we were able to take really nice photos through the telescope without shaking the view. It’s an awesome way to share what we see with friends and family.
Overall, this telescope is a great value for beginners or kids who are curious about astronomy. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy, fun way to explore the night sky! - Débora De LimaGreat Telescope!I bought this telescope for my kids, and we absolutely love it! The setup was quick and easy, the instructions were clear, and everything we needed was included in the box. The image quality is impressive for a beginner telescope.
The phone adapter and wireless remote work perfectly, making it super fun to take pictures of what we see. It’s also very lightweight and easy to carry, so we can take it outside or on trips without any trouble.
Overall, this telescope is perfect for families and anyone who wants to start exploring the night sky. - Christopher F.Great telescope for first time usersPurchased as a Christmas gift for my 6yo son. Shipped in a timely fashion, and arrived in good condition. Assembly instructions were mostly clear and easy to follow.
Used it on a night that was uncomfortably cold outside, but despite our limited time outside we were able to spot the moon easily. Magnification with the standard eye piece is pretty good, was able to make out great detail on the moons surface that is well beyond the detail one would get with the naked eye.
Following that we attempted to use the adapters that allow for much greater magnification. However, I was unable to spot the moon as it was uneasy to make the very fine adjustments needed on the tripod head because at that level of magnification very small adjustments to the tripod head create large changes in what is being observed through the eye piece. This is the reason for my 4 star, rather than 5 star review.
The only thing I was halfway disappointed with was the cell phone adapter. I was not able to make it work with my phone (Samsung Note 20). The phone was too heavy for the mount and the camera was unable to stay in the correct orientation in relation to the eye piece. May work much better with a smaller phone.
Overall a good starter telescope. - MorganPerfect Magical Gift for Kids — Fun, Easy, and Educational!I bought this telescope as a gift for my 5-year-old, and I’m so excited to give it to him when his Elf on the Shelf arrives! The plan is to have the elf bring it with a little note that says something like, “Check the skies for me tonight!” It’s such a fun and magical way to kick off the season.
The telescope itself is really impressive for the price. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and the picture quality is great for beginners. I love that it comes with a phone adapter and wireless remote, so we can take photos of what we see together. It’s perfect for kids who are curious about space but still sturdy and user-friendly enough for adults to enjoy too. - Vitaliy hamzaExcellent toy, recommend.Excellent telescope!

Excellent telescope for the price! My son is happy with it. The visibility is quite clear. He loves spending time observing the stars and planets. It comes with lots of accessories, and it's very easy to set up and compact. He uses it with the Planets app, which helps him identify stars and planets. Everything fits and works perfectly. - StormyMorningTripod wouldn't stay locked on a tilt positionI got this to look at Jupiter during an event. It was super close and seemed like a fun simple buy. This comes with the adapter to use your phone as well. The tripod would lock left and right but not tilting if your phone was on the adapter, especially not longer lenses. So you could point up at the sky but it wouldn't stay there. I used the spotting scope and sometimes it would be right in the center of the crosshairs, sometimes it would be in the upper left quadrant and sometimes in the right upper. It was infuriating trying to find what was so close and obvious in the sky. I occasionally did hit it but I had to hold the telescope into position and the wiggle from my hand made it so hard to see the object.
The adapter seemed great but think of it as a teeter totter, once it was on it was too heavy for the tripod to stay in place, even the longer viewing lenses added too much weight. The adapter didn't work with even a bumper case but that seemed ok to just take off during use ???? well I was struggling so much and constantly having to adjust that if you don't have that adapter locked down tight and perfectly on your phone then your phone calls off unexpectedly. Now since there is no case to perfect it... I have a cracked screen for the first time in my 20yrs of having cell phones. I got a $49 professional tripod that uses a ball joint for finer movements but haven't tried the telescope again, it's too cold at midnight now.
