When you spray it on your rims and tires and let it sit for a minute, it lifts all of the grime, dust and tire browning out of the tires and makes cleaning the tire a lot easier. This product does a really good job of removing prior tire dressings, road grime, and dirt from the tires if you were trying to prep the tire for a new tire dressing or some kind of coating. Don’t let the color of the product fool you. It may be purple, but it doesn’t smell like grapes. It has a real strong, pungent smell. I would recommend putting a mask over your nose or just covering your nose when spraying it on the tires. It’s not a pleasant smell, but it gets the job done. After using this product to clean the rims and the tires, you will notice that the tires are very bare, and the rims are very clean. This product is excellent for stripping off and removing everything that shouldn’t be there. I would recommend purchasing the gallon size and not the smaller size of this product. If you go for the small 16 ounce size by the time you spray all four of your tires on your vehicle and clean it you won’t have much left in the bottle. I just always purchased the gallon jug and dilute it down 50-50 so that way I can make it last longer. At that dilution ratio it still works very well.If you are looking for a tire cleaning product that will remove old tire dressings, dirt, grime, and anything else, then definitely purchase this product. It makes cleaning your tires, a much less labor-intensive job.

I own a 2013 F150. Until about a year ago my truck got washed maybe once a year. I live at the end of a dirt road, so washing is a waste of time and energy. The wheels and tires have never been hand cleaned, ever. A couple weeks ago I got tired of having brake dust all over the wheels so I tried Dawn dish soap to clean them. It did a decent job. So I decided to upgrade to Adams wheel and tire cleaner to see what would happen. I was surprised at how much cleaner the wheels and tires are compared to before. Application is simple. I let it dwell on everything for a couple minutes and then scrubbed the tires with a stiff bristle brush. I used a soft brush for the wheels. It all looked great. It was quick and easy to get good results. It took almost 1/2 a bottle to do all 4 tires though. I’m glad I bought 2 bottles.
It’s not something I will do often, so it’s worth the money to me. - Amazon CustomerIt Works For MeI have used store bought cleaners before but nothing like this. This works the moment you spray it on. my tires and rims were so clean that I rubbed a white cloth around the black tire and nothing was on the rag, no dirt, no black smears, nothing. I would highly recommend that you follow the instructions of during one wheel at a time. I have a pressure washer and that helps to blast the dirt away. I purchased the gallon jug and filled a spray bottle I have so as to not buy the spray bottle with the product they sell. The 1st photo shows its working after I sprayed it on. The 2nd shows the dirt and grime on the driveway after about 2-3 minuets of letting it work, and the 3rd photo shows how it looks after pressure washing it off. I would highly recommend this product and would buy again

Still needs some agitation but gets a lot done without it. Best tire cleaner I’ve used. Just be careful when using it while parked on a blacktop driveway, it will leave a stain on the driveway after rinsing your tire.
- Bought By BunkerBest wheel and tire cleaner I've used yet.You get what you pay for. Living on a dirt road, my wheels and tires get so dirty. I've tried other products but nothing cuts the dirt and brake dust like adams. I put this in a Zep spray bottle for easy use. Typically I will clean to wheels at once. You dont want to let this dry on the wheels as it will loose its effectiveness so doing 2 at once is perfect timing. Also, the white letters on my tires look brand new after use. I will use nothing else but Adams in the future, very effective!!
