- MaddyBest mop invented!!My search is finally over:)) I work full time, have four little ones and no cleaning help. So I needed something quick, easy, and efficient. The shark steam and scrub mop does it all! I love the cord so I don’t have to rush before the battery runs out. The water tank holds more then enough without refilling (for my space at least), no cleaning solution necessary, no emptying and refilling buckets. I just pop off the pads and throw them in the wash. This mop has gotten out every tough stain using just water (steam). I couldn’t be happier. I now have clean sanitized floors, with minimal effort. I bought one for an elderly family member who was having a hard time pushing a mop back and forth (along with all the other daily chores in life). And this made a "daunting" task much easier. After seeing how much he loved it and how it just made moping so effortless, I got one for myself, not that I needed it but I liked how it made me excited about mopping. Ahh it's the little things!
It gives a nice deep clean without all the manual labor. Its so easy to manuver I can hold it with a finger and it does the work for me. Just point and it goes. (Now I dont do that the entire time I'm using it, but you get the point.)
It uses distilled water which is normal for steam machines and I can do an entire room on level three with a full tank or do three rooms on level one, more or less. The cord length is generous. I like that it has lights in the lower front to help show the dirt and that the lights are easy on the eyes because they're not in your direct line of sight. That was smart and great for light sensitive people. I like that im using less chemicals in my house to clean since its just steam, but it works so well to get up stuff a vacuum can't.
Because it's steam it takes a little while to dry the floors so I plan my route to where I'm ending at a couch or another room that I don't need to do so I can hang out and do things like amazon reviews while it dries. And there will be swirl marks as you mop but they go away once it dries. I'm planning on getting another set of the washable pads so I can separate kitchen, bath, living room etc. It seems to be well made. It's definitely worth the money spent.
It's a perfect gift for an elderly person, anyone who needs to take it easy on their body or anyone who wants to deep clean with ease. I bet the kids would even start mopping with this thing. My 1st time using it to clean my wood floors, I was just going to clean the kitchen, but I ended up doing the whole 1st floor. AMAZING. Quiter than expected, I could use this even when husband is asleep. I had to refill the water reservoir a couple of times, but it is real easy to do. My floors are cleaner than they have ever been. Washable pads are being washed now. I think I'll order a few more - I really want to do more flooring!

It does such a great job cleaning the floors, like others mentioned, it’s almost embarrassing how much dirt it lifts up. I used to mop with Pine-Sol and still see dirt on a paper towel afterward, but this steam mop really changes that. While my floors aren’t spotless (yet), they feel noticeably cleaner under bare feet. You’ll definitely want extra pads beyond the four included; between two floors and two small bathrooms, I go through about ten pads per cleaning, and they’re all pretty dirty when I’m done. It's lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. Cord length is average. Totally worth it! I highly recommend.

Great that you don't need to add anything but water for noticeable results. Solid handle compared to the last Shark steam mop I had. I like that it stands up on its own so no falling over when placed in the upright position. The surface of the mop heads are a perfect size for tight spots in the bathroom around the toilet and sink. The burst of steam actually does get off stubborn spots leaving floors looking and smelling fresh.
