- BezliSuper Fun Bird Feeder Cam That Keeps the Whole Family Checking the PhoneBought this smart bird feeder camera a couple months ago and stuck it on the big maple tree right outside the kitchen window, set up was pretty easy, charged it indoors overnight, screwed the solar panel on top and hung it with the included strap, done in 20 minutes. Picture is sharp 2K during the day and surprisingly clear at night too, you can actually see the raccoons trying to rob it after dark. The AI thing cracks me up, it pops up on the app saying “House Finch – female” or “Northern Cardinal” and it’s right like 9 times out of 10, my 8-year-old loves racing to the window when the notification dings to see if it guessed correct. We stuck orange slices and grape jelly in the little side holders and now we get orioles and even a random woodpecker showing up, way more action than the old regular feeder. Solar panel keeps it topped off, battery still shows 95-100% even on cloudy weeks, haven’t plugged it in once since the first charge. Only real complaints, it only works on 2.4G WiFi so I had to split my network because everything else runs 5G, and the app logs you out sometimes if you don’t open it for a few days, mildly annoying. I added a 128GB SD card and it records every visit, fun to scroll back and watch the squirrels get scared off by the blue jays. My parents love it too, I shared the family access and now they get the same notifications at their house 500 miles away, they keep texting pictures of “their” cardinals. Definitely the coolest backyard gadget I’ve bought in years, already ordered a second one for the side yard.

This thing is awesome! The camera is super clear, the AI bird ID is actually really fun to use, and I get excited every time an alert pops up. The solar panel keeps it powered without me having to do anything, and it was super easy to set up. It feels sturdy, works great, and has brought so many cute little visitors to my yard. The squirrels loved it and even a raccoon tried climbing up a tree to get at it. It was a victim of its own success. Unfortunately the white plastic grate was chewed up by squirrels. The alarm was somewhat effective and stopping them but they are very persistent. So I ended up training them with the alarm just not to mess with the camera. It's overall pretty sturdy to survive them jumping on the top of on/off. We have had extreme heat & rain storms and it still works. We bought this months ago and the solar power is still working great. The images of the birds are still clear. I just wish I could have a metal grate/plate where the feed falls.

The experience has been incredibly interesting overall, and I am really grateful for the opportunity to use it. I was amazed by how nicely all of the components were grouped from the minute I got the box. This included the solar panel as well as the built-in camera system that promised artificial intelligence bird detection. I believe this feeder is fantastic because it combines the time-honored practice of feeding birds with the most recent technological advancements. It enables me to take pleasure in the allure of bird-watching while simultaneously providing me with real-time video and notifications. The sleek design was an additional advantage, as it was able to mix in rather nicely with the outdoor décor that I already had. However, after I got the feel of it, everything fell into place. The process of setting it up took a little bit longer than I had first imagined it would. In addition to having a container for the seeds that is simple to access and refill, the feeder itself is manufactured of robust materials. My first fear was that the camera would be a nuisance to the birds; however, it is incorporated in such a manner that it does not frighten them away. After some trial and error, I was able to locate a location on my fence post where the solar panel could absorb sufficient rays to ensure that the camera would continue to function consistently throughout the day. I had a lot of trouble aligning the solar panel at the ideal angle to optimize the amount of sunshine that it received. Especially if you want a more environmentally friendly arrangement and don't want to depend on regular battery replacements or a bulky electrical line, for example, the solar power component is a key advantage, in my opinion.
