- chrisSolid choice for your LED lineup/ collectionOverall great led, very easy interface - high and low, temporary on off as well as full click rear switch. Good build quality, nice 2 way clip. Haven’t tried 10440 but this Version 2 takes them as the original version doesn’t supposedly - which brings the output to 300 lm, but 200 lm as I’m running with standard rechargeable aaa nimh is adequate, it comes with an alkaline aaa but I noticed flickering with that battery. The only thing that is strange or different about this light with either battery that I’ve run it with is that there is like a very slight gradual “ramping” or delay wheb switched to high mode, it’s very slight but it’s not something I’ve seen on any other light I’ve owned and that is a collection of 30 plus led lights. It may have something to do with the new circuitry of the version 2 or could just be my particular light. Size - it’s bigger than a Lumintop Tool AAA for comparison, but makes it easier to hold. It you are new to flashlights or as general recommendation for an instant EDC lineup - here are my current favorites for a 4 light simple and cost/ budget effective AAA/AA capable lineup - 1. Olight i3e aaa for keychain, 2. this Olight i3t or Lumintop Tool AAA for small rear click pocket light, 3. Acebeam Pokelit AA (comes with rechargeable lithium), 4. Acebeam Tac AA (comes with rechargeable lithium). 4 lights that cover pretty much anything you will need for say 65-75 bucks total for all - depending on sale price at the time of each.
- CrisAwesome light for EDCVery bright light in tiny package. Fits in pocket and convenient clip and for hat hanging too! Battery life is good. Nice to have high and low settings. Button is easily depressed and does not go on unintentionally. Great company, love all their products.
- N/AGreat little light for $10I like this. I bought it and a comprable Streamlight at the same time. I loved my old two cell Streamlight. This costs less and is brighter. I also like the clip- you can clip it onto your hat for hands-free use. It is compact and uses a single AAA battery. I'll buy this brand first from now on.
- TDBNice little EDC flashlightPro’s: Nice small EDC flashlight. Got wet in the rain, worked just fine. Lightweight and easy to carry, seems pretty durable, and the double sided clip is convenient for putting on a hat.

- belowiSturdy, reliable flashlightI have been using headlamps for camping and backpacking for over 20 years, most of the models I have owned have been self contained units that use 3 aaa batteries with a headstrap. This light is now my go-to light and I love it for these reasons:
- tons of light from 1 aaa battery
- very lightweight and compact size
- only takes 1 battery so less spares to carry
- clip works great to securely attach to hat brim or clip in pocket when carrying
- click button is effective and easy to use
I have used it for about 10 days of trips so far with the original battery and it is still going strong. Very happy with this purchase.
