- Jeff NNice, but snug in the hip areaJuly 19, 2025:
Overall, I like these pants. The color is as pictured and the fabric as described.
The relaxed fit is fine in the thigh area and below, but the seat and hip area is snug. The waist size exactly matches the labeling.
Regarding space for a phone, one would fit in either a cargo pocket or one of the main four (front and rear) pockets. The smaller pockets on the outside of one cargo pocket could hold smaller items.
After wearing the pants a couple of times to work, on a bicycle, while driving and for a 1/2 mile walk, I find them to be comfortable. They feel durable, though time will tell. - kekeComfortable, look nice, hold up to real workMy husband absolutely loves these pants. They are perfect for everyday wear either working around the house, heading out to dinner, working on the tractor or working in the woods. I bought 2 pair earlier this year & just ordered him 2 more in different colors. These are his favorite pants for comfort, wear & tear & wash & wear. If your looking for good pants that look nice & hold up to whatever it is what your doing get you a pair or 2.
- Diggy-DogDurable but Quirky Waist SizingI've only worn them once, but the pants appear very durable and are of good quality. I like the ripstop material as it dries quickly. If weight indicates quality, these pants weigh 888 grams or 1.9 lbs. Maybe the weight can be used to compare other pant choices.
The waist sizing is weird on me. I normally wear 32" waist pants, but these 32 " pants are too tight. However, the 33" waist pants are too big and I cannot pull them down over my hips. Maybe it's my body.
The relaxed fit makes them comfortable, allowing free body movement. I like the pant's cargo pockets, and they are quite large.
I recommend these pants for anyone doing outdoor work, but be mindful of the waist sizing.
I noticed that many reviews do not show ripstop, but other fabrics. - mahsiocajVery study pants.Stitching, zipper, and material are all pretty solid. The pockets are useful. The waist is a little tight on 30x30, but still wearable without much discomfort. I'll likely order and try the 31x30 size and see if it fits a bit better.
- Kimberlee MitchellGreat work pants. (6'0" 285lb wide-hipped man)Comfortable, plenty of pocket space, and they fit really well (and look pretty good) on my tall, wide-hipped frame. Easily my most robust pair of pants (other than som Cold War-era milsurp fatigues) by a long shot - a very refreshing change after buying several pairs of other "heavy duty" and "tactical" pants that gave out after a year or less. Lesson learned - lot of brands are just expensive nsmes, but Wranglers are still apparently interested in making durable work wear. Also? They're thick and rigid and they feel like wearing some sort of material between cardboard and canvas, and somehow I find that extremely comfortable. They don't get sweaty or stick to me when I'm working in the summer, and they're plenty warm for the colder months, too. Buying a second pair after I write this review.
- Opinionated ReviewLove them.Have bought more, will continued to buy more. The only issues I've ever had with these pants, being a welder and wearing them constantly, is either; discoloration due to sweat (Not their fault I stay hydrated and full of electrolytes), and a minor issue with things in the pockets rubbing against the outside material over a long period of time. That will wear holes in them, but it takes quite a bit longer than many jeans I've bought.
The pockets are great, with a loop for a hammer, and two extra small pockets on the leg which my multi-tool has found a comfortable home in. Admittedly the smaller one is a bit more challenging, as with walking during work, pens can fall out, but that's life.
Never had any issues with zippers, unless things get caught in them. Which is a hazard if bathroom breaks are rushed, but that's a user issue haha!
Keep them clean, and hung up? Possibly ironed if you like it that way, and these make for useful and quite smart looking pants that you can wear to business casual events. Admittedly, the black ones might even pass for a bit more lax formal, but that's a welder's opinion.
All in all, tough and great quality pants. Wish I could afford to buy more and just use them over the years... - Catherine A. BermanEven though relaxed fit they are small and pinches in waist/hipEdit: there is clearly a sizing issue. These pants have nice pockets and seem durable but the 36 waist is too small and the 38 is too big. Also I think the 30in length is way longer than it should be. Most of the time 30in is on the shorter side for me and these are long if I pull them past my belly button. I guess that’s what you get for paying $23 on sale, they must be pawning off bad sized product.
Would be 5 stars if the fit was consistent. They were just a but tight in the waist and hip causing a pinch. I had to order a size up (which is 2 sizes between 36 and 38). I was disappointed because I have their ATG hiking cargo pants that fit perfectly at size 36. I don’t know if it’s a quality control issue or sizing difference between product lines, but the pants seem high quality otherwise.
