- genesisCute and works greatThis is so cute and it works great! I brought it to work to heat up some soup and after an hour my soup was nice and hot. It didn't leak at all and it's easy to clean and to carry. I ended up buying an extra one so that zi can have hot oatmeal for breakfast. It's a great buy.
- Michelle WilsonHeats up reasonably quick and hot!Heats up faster than I expected! I have been using it for leftovers, ready in about an hour but I haven't checked really to see if its warm sooner. I just plug it in about an hour before lunch. This morning I put in quick oats, flax seed, dried fruit and water and drove to work. It seals tights so no worry of spills. Plugged it in and perfect oatmeal! Again I plugged it in and checked on it in a hour. It may have been done sooner. I should pay more attention. I love this thing! It does get really hot too! I dislike having to use the microwave at work for many reasons I'm sure you can understand but the microwave dries things out. This little crock-pot doesn't dry out my lunch! I don't know how I managed before having it! Would highly recommend.
- JJust buy it already! This mini Crockpot food warmer comes in clutch! I work at an office with 1 microwave that barely functions. I plug this in about 1.5-2 hrs before lunch and BOOM perfectly warmed meal that is ready to eat right at lunch. Also convenient when I have to drive to another work location during lunch because I can just grab it and go, and eat a warm meal in the car. And it seems more evenly heated than a microwave. I have put all sorts of food, but my go-to is some kind of meat/rice/frozen vegetable and soup. I haven’t tried pasta yet, but it may get a little crusty if not a saucy pasta, but I’m sure it would still taste great. I have overcooked my pre-cooked meat (steak) when I left it on for 3-3.5 hrs. The 1-2 hrs heating time seems to be the sweet spot.
As others have mentioned, the top lid that screws on is slightly difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, is not hard to operate. The thread just doesn’t catch very well is the main problem. The cord can be stored wrapped around on the bottom, but I have had difficulty getting it to wrap around so it can still sit flat; so I just carry it in my lunch bag most of the time. Handle is convenient for carrying.
I think it fits a sufficient meal. Guesstimate 3/4 cup of rice, 6 oz meat, 1/2 cup mixed vegetables or 2-2.5 cups of soup.
If it could have some simple upgrades, an on/off switch or option for battery power and re-do on the lid threading so top lid is easier to use. If it was actually designed to cook raw foods that would really be amazing, but still amazing as it is.
Would definitely buy again! - SV_AZGreat and very usefulI tried this one more time before returning, I discovered I had to keep the inner bowl inserted before trying to loosen the cap. Now I can open it with greater ease. I’m glad I discovered this and now I am keeping it. It’s perfect for my office use. I don’t need to run to the community microwave but even better is the flavor of my food. The item I bought was one of those discounted, it didn’t include instructions which is why I struggled. I’m glad this is working out, this is really pretty, functional, and small so I can take it everywhere.

It’s a great idea and very pretty product, the trouble is it’s super hard to open! I must have a defective version if no one else is struggling with this. So disappointed! It’s not easy to use at all. - GarJHot Meals on the Go, But a Bit SmallI really like the Crock-Pot Portable Electric Lunch Box (20-Ounce) — it heats food evenly and is perfect for taking a hot meal to work or on the road. The stainless steel interior is easy to clean, and the leak-proof lid and locking system work well. I also love that it can plug into both a wall outlet and a car outlet.
The only downside is the size. It’s pretty small — I can fit about one whole can of soup comfortably, so if you want a larger lunch, you’ll need to pack multiple containers or go for something bigger.
Bottom line: Great for solo meals or a light lunch, but not ideal if you’re super hungry. Still, a convenient and reliable option. - Kacey S.Works greatI really like this little crock pot. It is perfect to tale for lunch. You can put soup or other things to keep warm until ready to eat. It's really easy to use and clean. I love the color too.
- 1890Perfect5 stars Im so glad I bought this. I plugged it in 2 hours before my lunch break and it was hot!! Can’t wait to use it again tomorrow. Perfect size. Helping me to eat less as it is a small container. Very light weight. Great quality. Value for the money.
- Michael GrossWonderfulThis little baby Crockpot is the only thing to bring me joy today so far. Works great even though I went hard and packed it with rice.
I had rice, turkey, and gravy. The turkey and gravy were warmed very well especially considering they went from fridge to 30 mins of heat, but the gravy wasn't melted until I mixed it up, but I blame the rice insulating it. If I had premixed it, it probably would've been perfect.
It didn't get the food scalding hot which is a win to me personally, it was pretty perfect eating temperature. With something more liquid, it'll probably get pretty hot.
