Additionally, the safety lock prevents unintentional activation, making it a safer environment for families, especially where children are present.
- Robust and Reliable Construction: Our cooktop is constructed with a shatter-proof ceramic glass surface that resists intense heat without cracking, ensuring long-lasting durability. Rigorously tested under extreme conditions, this cooktop delivers reliability and enduring performance, giving you confidence in every meal preparation.
- Versatile Power Settings for Precise Cooking: Master any recipe with 18 distinct power levels, topping out at 1800W for rapid heating. - Amazon CustomerTerrific replacement for our propane cooktop.I installed this induction cooktop in our motor home to replace the propane cooktop that was originally installed. The installation was simple. The performance of the cooktop is amazing. Even thought this is only a 120 volt cooktop, it heats very quickly and is very easy to control. We are thoroughly pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
- kimDouble induction stove topWorks great love it
- ScottUSAAttractive and good value, but induction coils are smallThis looks and feels like a very high quality, named brand, induction burner. I really like the touch control buttons embedded in the glass instead of the plastic covered physical buttons that other units use.
My main disappointment with this unit is the size of the induction coils... which conveniently, is not stated in the specs. I did not open the unit to look inside, but from observing where the water starts boiling in the middle of a large frying pan, I would say the coils are each 6" or smaller in diameter. I was hoping for a little larger since there are other units at this price point touting 8" or even 9" coils. I suppose since this unit has two burners instead of just one, I should not have expected too much.
The "sync" feature where you can combine both burners to heat up one large round pot is mostly a gimmick. First, the only way to do this is to split the 1800 max wattage into half for each coil(900w each). Then it would only be efficient to center the pot between the two coils if he pot could reached an inch past the mid point of each coil... which means the pot would have to be right near the units maximum pot size limit of 10.8". Any round pot with a base smaller than 10" would benefit more from just being centered on a single burner set to high(1800W). It would make sense though to use the sync feature for a long, rectangle grilling pan, especially if you used it to cook two large burger patties, one centered over each coil.
The last negative thing that other people have commented about is how this burner only has enough space to accommodate two small pots, or at most, one small and one medium pot. This is true, but it is also true that most other double burner induction units available are around 24" in length, where as this one is only 20.5" long, which is the maximum size I can install with my space limitations. - Lonni WWorks wellBought this unit to use as an accessory to our main unit in a kitchen remodel. This one comes with a 110ac plug on it, so no need to direct wire. It's made to either be a portable sit on top unit or mount into the counter. We did the latter, mounting this into the counter to give us an additional cooktop space beyond our 5 burner induction cooktop. For us, this is our sauce station in the kitchen, making sauces, boiling water, and so on. Really, an easy way to expand the kitchen and make it feel more upscale and user friendly. Very happy with it so far.
- brownieQuality cooktopFantastic! It has 18 different power levels, which is 50% more than their old induction cooktop. A lot more granular control.
- NathanWorks great, very quick boilingWorks great. Tea kettle boils so quickly now!
- Robert TeichmanPoor documented minimum pot sizeThis is actually a good product with a minor flaw. It won’t work with pots smaller than 4.8”. Trying to use a small pot gives a cryptic error (no pot found), and shuts off the unit. You need to read the whole manual including the fine print to find the single sentence about minimum pot size!
- Raven’s TeethBest value induction cooktop!Number settings match the wattage, so 5 means 500 watts, 18 means 1800 watts. This makes brain hurt less. Temperature would have been nicer. Most units leave you guessing.
(The glare from my harsh overhead lights is really the light's fault- I need a diffused panel.)
It cleans easily despite the evidence of my laziness in the photo.
Cooking time is greatly reduced. Wattage meter shows doubled efficiency, or at the least we are cooking more and using half the electricity on this socket. Averaging 300 watt hours a day for 3 to 6 daily meals.
I haven't yet found a stainless or carbon steel griddle that fits approximately 8x16 inches so that the buttons don't get covered up. It seems most griddles are 20 inches.
I may try the wok on the bridge to see if it heats stir fry better. Big pans tend to crowd out the buttons on the front burner.
Still playing around with this- but it does seem to have much more options than most, at the better price.
Not a loud buzz, easily quieter than the hood exhaust fans.
