- Jeff BoykinSolid Kitchen ApplianceSo far this cooktop seems pretty good. Its not quite as heavy duty as the old one being replaced but its also 1/3 the cost of a new one of that type so no complaints. It came with everything needed for the installation including a new regulator and even teflon tape. It did only come with 2 clamps to lock it down and had 4 holes. The old unit had 4 clamps so I just used those. Not sure if 2 would have been enough to lock it down securely. It fit in the old hole with no adjustments required. The hardest part for me was getting the reducer out of the old regulator so I could reuse it with the new one. It looks nice in our kitchen and so far we are happy with it. Will update if that changes.
New update: Np one but me seems to be able to figure out how to light the thing. You have to push down and turn and keep pushing down a second or so after it lights before you can let off or the safety system will shut it back off. - Amazon Customerwhat a beauty and performence.Im in the process of finishing a DIY kitchen in a new house. I ordered an American made cook-top and ended up taking it out which was not designed to be a four burner. But this cook top came in just the perfect size and the burners are properly proportioned rather than being pushed on the side for a 5 burner burner design.
Its very fine and nicely designed. It works perfect out of the box without fading when turned down to low.
Most of all, it is half the price of the American made.

Not quite as fancy as I thought it could be for a high quality home kitchen. The burners are great and is easy to take the grates off for cleaning. They are heavy though.
- Bmckeon1Worth the $$$.Just installed the other day. The great is very heavy duty and the unit seems to be made well. I have not tested it too much but the flame is even and hot on both burners. was not difficult to find the right 3/8”-1/2” adapter to fit the connections, at Lowe’s to make this work with standard propane tank. Be sure to get the $50 kit @ Lowe’s that has the propane tank regulator and the hose connections to make life easier and safe.

- ManningEverything I was hoping for and moreThis was a replacement cooktop - nothing wrong with my other one but I'd had it for 15 years and wanted a change. Super- simple install with an easy conversion from Natural Gas to LP. I read the installation but not the directions so for any others like me - note this... "Off" is at 12 oclock "Low" is at 6 oclock and "Light / High" is at 9 oclock. That's obvious! BUT once a burner is lit, you can feather in between "9 to 12" to get a super-low simmer mode. I hope it helps the other folks like me that don't read ????
