- spicyringletsPerfect wholesome treat for kitties!My cats love these treats! They are a little more expensive than similar dog treats, but they are nice and small for cats. My 21 year old cats can eat these with no issues. I love that they are just chicken and no weird ingredients. Sometimes I use them to entice my cats to eat when they aren't feeling good.

She knows they're a "snack" and knows what's in that little brown packet too, lol. I read everything. It all sounds good and makes sense that cats are hunters and this is a great sample of just that but healthier than a live animal. Yuck... The quality is good and chewable for any cat. I'm going to keep buying them.
- RyanMy Cat’s Favorite TreatMy small sized adult house cat goes absolutely nuts for these. She has a tough time tearing them up on her own, but I think that’s really just due to how small her mouth is. I admittedly struggle a bit to break them up by hand, but I have poor grip strength. We’re a poorly equipped duo. Aside from their toughness, these are the perfect treat for my gal. She’s obsessed! She recognizes the bag, and is unrelenting once she’s spotted it until she’s got one in her bowl. For my part, I like these treats because I like to offer organ meat to my cat, and I find these to be a very affordable price.

I've really noticed a big improvement in the texture of their coats too. Since I started giving them a few fish a day their fur is noticably softer. Great product!
- Nic T6 months & under may have a time eating bigger pieces.The shorthair mixed kitten liked them immediately. The Siamese eats them after looking at it for a bit and the Bombay girl didn't like them at all. I think this a good treat because its natural and not just another kibble style treat.

Return customer 11 times for just the minnows treats which the cats continue to enjoyed very much. VE Minnows are not oily treats like other freeze-dry fish, they are dry to the touch. Best of all these snack treats do not promote smelly stools. It’s an awesome product your cats will love you for it.
- AyyItsYaBoiGreat Single Ingredient TreatsRecently purchased these treats for my cat's 7th birthday. Before we adopted her, she had one of her fangs extracted. I wanted to make sure she wouldn't have any issues eating this, and she has had no problems eating these at all! Doing research online, freeze dried ray food is apparently good for cleaning teeth, but I cant say its too easy to check that. The treats are pretty airy and feel almost like a crouton. There is only one ingredient, which is fantastic for keeping my cat healthy and away from a bunch of unnecessary additives. Thanks for the product!
- SamSmaller bag, but the chicken hearts are fairly big and can be cut up into several pieces.My Bengal-mix kitty has never been a huge treat fan, she'll eat Greenies, but sometimes ignores them and turns her nose up at most wet foods regardless of quality, flavor or type. Only treats she really likes are Churu or Catit squeeze pouches, which aren't something I want to give her more than once a day.
So I recently decided to try a few different Vital Essentials treat bags for my super finicky cat (also didn't want to buy treats that were loaded or processed with fillers and junk). She had no idea what to do with the fish minnows, she'd rather play with them, the plain freeze-dried chicken chunks were edible but nothing sensational and didn't spark any cravings. But these chickens hearts ... WINNER WINNER chicken dinner !! She actually comes running for these (pic: yeah she's on the counter, it's safe and clean). Tried the smaller bag because they're a bit spendy $$, thankfully the hearts are pretty large so I'm able to cut one into about 6-8 smaller pieces. I also recently picked up a new kitten, he loves the minnows so they won't go to waste, and of course he loves the chicken hearts too. Excellent tasty treats.
