Finding My Way: A Memoir

Top reviews from the United States

  • A MUST read, you will laugh and cry
WOW. Truly one of the best (and most well written!!) memoirs I’ve ever read. So many lines I’m still replaying in my head. The storytelling is just incredible. Also, I didn’t expect to laugh so much!! Malala is FUNNY. At the same time, she opens up about so many heavy and important topics, particularly around mental health. Gifting to every one in my life. Could not recommend more.
  • Malala's Memoir is Fantastic
Malala is my favorite activist. This book is fascinating, relatable, and quite compelling. Her journey through managing her PTSD and anxiety to navigating the complexities of her personal decisions and her critics outcries is one of strength, determination, and freedom.
  • Must read!!!
Finding My Way is a refreshingly honest memoir about navigating the complex transition from student to adult activist. This is such a moving book which balances Malala’s global mission with her personal struggles, offering warm insights into finding purpose beyond one's history. It is an essential guide for anyone facing uncertainty in their future, and I highly recommend it for its powerful message of courage and persistence!
  • Best new read!
I was fortunate to get an early release copy of Malala’s new book, Finding My Way. This is the book you can’t put down once you start. I finished in two days. Malala’s vulnerability to allow the world to look inside her life as she shares her story has you laughing and crying throughout the book. I think every woman will be able to see themselves and relate in someway through her stories of finding her way. Her stories from University took me back to my own memories of college and I saw my own irrational thoughts the night before my wedding as she shared her own. The book recognizes the value in mental health and self care which I appreciate. Finally, throughout the book she never fails to bring the reader back to her mission to focus on education and equality for all girls. You must read this book and buy a copy for every woman you know who’s finding their way! Thank you for writing this book, it’s a work of art.
  • Entertaining and profound!
An amazing book full of heart, hurt, and growth! A very clear well thought out novel with life lessons anyone can benefit from. Malala may not always feel like a hero, but by sharing her life and struggles makes her far more heroic than most. Fabulous job!
  • Honesty
Finding My Way is a heartfelt memoir. I really like that the author shares her true self. Often times people have difficulty sharing the truth. Not the case here. This is a good read.
  • Love! A great read!
A captivating read - I read this in 2 days. Malala is real, open, and finding her way just like all of us! Feels like an old friend you are talking to after so long. She has so much to be proud of.
  • Beautiful Memoir ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a beautiful, honest memoir from a woman I have admired since first hearing her story. Struggles with mental health and wellbeing are universal struggles and Malala has a beautiful voice to show all young women and girls that the voice inside your head, full of uncertainty and endless curiosity and questions is not the voice to ignore or try to hide. This is a beautiful coming of age story as well as a love story. Thank you Malala for sharing your world with us and your dreams with the world!
