Incredibly impressed! Far better quality than I could have expected, durable material, sturdy feel. I love all of the pocket options and the detachable bag is perfect for wading out into streams or the shore. The trays are heavier than you’d think and aren’t junky. All of the clips and zipper seem well made and allow for carabiner clips and other attachable accessories. All in all, it looks sharp and is very functional for a medium bag. Not sure where they are getting 6 piece set from there is only 4 actual things in this unless you count the sheath for the blade and scissors and the lanyard for the pliers then it is 6 pieces lol. Had to sharpen the knife. Unfortunately I didn't think to test the sharpness before taking it fishing. Whipped it out to cut up a perch I caught for some live bait and it just squished the poor guy. Thankfully my buddy had his blade on him and we got the job done. So went home and sharpened it and now it cuts like a dream. The pliers are very nice well made and durable. The scissors are very sharp and work great, and the lip gripper is actually pretty nice. Very light weight with a good clamping force. Haven't held any monsters up with it yet but held a 7lb large mouth bass no problem.
Overall, price is pretty good around the $20-$25 mark wouldn't spend much more for it imo but would make a nice gift for someone starting out - 1DeadeyeValue for tools that actually workPrimarly bought thais set for the snap ring plyers, and another set of braid scissors. I have wasted so much buying $5.00 fishing tools and this puts and end to that. High quality, made for fishing, makes this a dandy good value. I was surprised at the feel of the filet knife with a blade guard that is so well designed. The knife handle is perfect for a no slip messy job with a really good blade too. I fish for bass and release them, (don't eat your toys), but a walleye is skillet bound. These braid sicssors cut clean and have a good guard that clicks securely. I bought this set on sale and am tickled. Hope this helps someone. :)
