- SophieGreat basking spot, not great for a hideGood if you want a large basking area. Very sturdy and large. Very wide opening and inside, so not too good for a dedicated hide. I like how it looks natural. It has some green coloring like a rock with moss. I do like that it's like an optional little space for my snake to go inside of though!!

It fits perfectly in the corner of his tank, giving him a cozy place to hide and a nice warm spot to soak up the heat lamp. The material feels sturdy and easy to clean, and it hasn’t tipped over or moved around.
Since adding this, I’ve noticed he spends way more time basking comfortably and seems less stressed with a good hiding spot. She immediately started to explore this new hide once i put it in her enclosure, she seems to really enjoy the basking spot on top. It's a beautiful natural looking addition to her tank, which matters to me haha. It was obviously packaged with care to protect it during shipping, and is lightweight but has a good sturdy feel to it.

- bmetallonatural looking outsideI really got it for the toads outside. I was surprised that they used it. the look of it is very natural. and easy to hide under the flowers. i thought it was expensive. but now seeing it outside and with a toad in it. seems worth it.
- RosieperfectI was somewhat skeptical about this bc the pic makes it look cheap and very plastic. It’s not. It might have some plastic (idk?) but it’s very well made and has some weight to it so it doesn’t float or anything like that. I have a pond with very very large (10+) cichlids, then medium like jack dempseys, and finally the small guys.. the ever growing population of convicts and polar parrots that have lived in the pond longer than i’ve owned the house. I have hiding spots for all the big guys bc if they don’t have hiding spots, or places to chill alone, or somewhere to get away from another fish, etc.. they get super aggressive. I wanted something with a smaller entrance that they can’t just take over and claim as theirs like they do all the time. This is huge (i got the XL) but the bigger fish can’t get in, so it’s ideal for the medium and smaller fish. I have plenty of little 8” ornaments the smaller fish hide in but nothing this spacious. I can totally see my high bodied severums or vieja going sideways against the floor of the pond to try and like limbo in there ????. I’ve had slightl buyers remorse on hideaways before but this is very nice and the material is smooth so it’ll be very easy to clean. We love it!!
