- Kenzie PaxGreat product!I am so pleasantly surprised by this! I needed something to keep my closet locked during the Christmas season, so my kids don’t see all their Christmas presents. I was able to put this on my door frame quickly and with no assistance. It doesn’t require any drilling or other materials. It has kept the closet completely secure. The door doesn’t budge when my kids try to open it, but it’s super easy for adults to use. This is a great product. Reasonable price.
- amazonshopper1Exactly what I needed!The Huglock was the perfect solution for keeping our toddler grandchildren out of closets and rooms they shouldn’t be in while they were visiting. We were looking for something that didn’t have to be installed permanently and purchased these since they do not require any holes or adhesives.
They are super easy to slide onto the door out of reach for children and to use to open the door, and we like that with the ease of a button, you can disable the lock when not needed if you prefer not to take them off and on.

- Melissa KingEasy, safe, and secure!We had been looking for some time for an easy child lock for our kid's room that wouldn't allow little hands to open the door at all. The Huglock literally slips perfectly onto the door, holds it securely closed at the doorjamb, and can be engaged and disengaged quietly if needed, FROM BOTH SIDES! It is placed at adult height, but even if the kid gets taller it's so easy to install that we could just move it up higher. This is a great product and I highly recommend it to parents of small curious children who unfortunately have lever doorknobs in their house and can't or don't want to drill into their doorjambs.
- KevinWow!!! Works way better than I thought expectedSaw ads for this on social media and decided to try it. It works amazingly well. It slips on and fits perfectly and can be removed just as fast with no damage to the door.
My only con is that it is on the more expensive side but I feel it’s worth it for the ease of use.

It’s perfect for my pantry door, keeps the kids out of the candy & my mom snacks ???? I’ve tried the lever locks and this beats them 100% because it’s so easy to install & when they grow out of stealing candy I’ll just take it off! I’ve also been using it on their bedroom door, it’s prefect because I can open the door from either side & my toddler can’t accidentally lock themselves in. (Total mom fear of mine) There’s no drilling & no paint scuffs - it snapped right on and is easy to use! It’s intuitive for guests & babysitters so that’s a total plus! Order a 2 pack or you’ll end up moving the same lock around your house haha

- Tomas BitettoMeasure your door correctly before buying it.The Huglock safety lock works great. I tried on one of my doors at my house and worked perfectly. You can open the door both sides. Easy to install, no need of drilling or double sided tape… But, it didn’t work at my work where I was planning to use it. I measured the door, but it was thicker for a tiny bit. Great product. I can’t tell you about durability, because I had to return it.
