I like these nuts, although peanuts aren't technically nuts, they're legumes, so a bit of false advertising there. i don't know if this is common knowledge. I've known peanuts are legumes since I was a young child. I'll have to ask my neighbors and see if the know peanuts aren't actually nuts.
Whether nuts or legumes, i like this mix. It's very fresh and crunchy and deeply satisfying. It isn't overly salty, although frankly I could do with a bit less salt than what they put on these mixed "nuts." I really like the cartoon character with the top hat and monocle, signifying that peanuts aren't garbage, low-end cheap food, Peanuts are HIGH CLASS. You can tell just by looking at the cartoon peanut's attire. Good job with the marketing mascot, Planters. I sure wish they had a larger tin available, though. Nuts smell inviting and offer a good mix and variety making these somewhat healthy. Caloric content and salt content keep this from ever being considered a health food, but taken in moderation can certainly be a good fit for many.
We love to serve these for our guests and my personal practice is to repackage in sealed small containers to keep at my desk for light snack. Satisfies my taste buds while stemming my appetite. I do find it necessary to keep small packages near my desk to avoid eating too many in one sitting. A testament to the consistent quality and great taste!
The prices are going way up which is the ONLY reason I docked these a star. - Amazon CustomerA great way to snack!When I was young I was cautioned about eating nuts because they are fattening. Fortunately they are also full of protein, and I need a snack with protein. These fit the bill nicely. Good mix of nuts in the jar (although if it were up to me, all cashews would be replaced with more pecans and hazelnuts). Good value for the price.

- Joe EvangelistaNot very salted, these nutsQuite disappointing, especially coming from one of our oldest nut sellers. Apparently, Planter's has cut the amount of salt in their nuts, because once upon a time these would have been called 'reduced salt', at best. Did they forget that a certain level of salt offsets the fat in most nuts? These truly hardly any at all, particularly compared with how they once were. I can only recommend them poorly, by saying that, compared with CVS' new nuts and Happy Belly and most of the other nuts on Amazon, they at least have a detectable amount of salt.
