Used this to replace a disc dove belt on my OG XBOX. I have a 1.6 version (2004-11-12 mfg date) with a Samsung DVD drive. Took a few tries to get it on, but I used the fine tweezers from an iFixit kit and was able to get it on. The original I replaced was hard and not allowing the drive to open. The new one opens and closes like new now.

My xbox 360 disc drive was starting to struggle to open and sometimes flat out wouldn't open at all. I read that the issue could be that I needed to replace the belt for it so I ordered these. They fit perfectly and put my disc drive back in working order. Also a pretty good deal for 5 of them considering I only needed 1.

These are a must for those like me that like to play all those older games on disc. If it's a failure to eject or open this is probably the problem. New drives are expensive, if you can even find them at all and they require flashing or a board swap and solder to work. Plenty of videos explain how to get to to the belt on your drive.

The Lucky Dog 5 x Optical DVD Drive Replacement Belt Ring for Xbox 360 / Slim and DVD Drives Stuck Open Tray, works, it opens and closes my drive tray but with some hesitation. I feel they should be a tad smaller. My original band was stretched out and the new band was a bit smaller. This is the reason I feel they should be smaller, but like I said earlier they do work just not as much as I want them to work.
