- William J BartlingGreat product !I placed the feeder on a large picture of window facing the back yard. For two weeks not one bird showed up. I was disappointed. Then I remembered I had a plastic owl and a brightly painted roadrunner on my patio. Not knowing if that was a problem I moved them. Within two days the birds found my feeder and every day there are many different varieties showing up to snack and provide entertainment for us. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. Great product.
- Kindle CustomerMiss Kitty Loves her New Bird Feeder!Fits perfectly on my Bathroom Window and Miss Kitty can watch and harass her Feathered Friends! I love the way I can remove the tray easily to refill it! It was very easy to install!
- Coleman T.Fabulous FeederThe feeder is sturdy and really holds well to the window. The only challenge is keeping the squirrels away. They climbed up a tree and jumped on the feeder. So, I moved it to another window and the squirrels climbed the house and jumped on the feeder, knocking the feeder down and breaking the tray. Im going to figure out how to fix it and to keep the squirrels out. Our cats were thrilled to watch the birds eating in the feeder. I absolutely recommend this.
- CassidyBirds love itBirds love it but bottom gets moldy in rain since there’s now way for it to drain.
- Amazon CustomerGood auction, great for bird watching!I have now bought three of these just ordered a fourth! Obsessed with watching the birds off our breakfast nook. The suction works great, will get 1-2 birds sitting on it at a time, even the big blue jays who visit don’t weigh it down. Recently a nosy squirrel had even come to hang on it by propelling himself off the screen- I thought for sure it was going to fall- it still hangs. The birds also love to sit at the top. These are well made and come with an extra suction cup if you need it.
- David HolmesGreat little feederOne week in and I couldn't be happier with this little feeder. It lives on a patio slider and the birds found it immediately. We've had a steady rotation of the usual suspects (titmice, chickadees, cardinals, sparrows, the occasional Carolina wren), but the feeder is also accessible to blue jays, and downy and red belly woodpeckers. I was concerned about the suction cups holding at first because I had hung the feeder in temps just above freezing, but so far so good. I'm using zero-waste cayenne-coated sunflower seed chips, and there's been no squirrel interest so far.
- AGreat Concept, Flawed DesignThe concept of a clear bird feeder is fantastic. I love it, my cats love it, and guests love it. It's such a fun, cheap, easy thing to add to the house that brings countless hours of enjoyment. I will never not have a clear bird feeder on my house, HOWEVER, I would not recommend this particular model.
If you're like me, you have no idea what to consider when it comes to buying a clear bird feeder. They all look similar, they are all similarly priced, so which one do you get?
I wondered the same thing, didn't want to put the time in, so I bought this one. I ultimately returned it because I discovered that this particular bird feeder has one large flaw:
**When birds land on the outer rim of the feeding tray, they can easily accidentally knock it out**
And the problem gets worse the bigger the birds you have, or if squirrels come too. I found that I had to go outside multiple times a day and slide the feeding tray back into the feeder. It was literally falling apart multiple times a day from routine bird-use.
I ended up changing to an identically priced version. This version's feeding tray slides DOWN into the feeder, not sideways into it. The birds are unable to knock my new one out like they were able to easily knock this one out.
I highly recommend getting a different style feeder whose feeding tray is easy for you to remove, but not easy for birds to remove. The IDEA is fantastic though. Suction cups worked great.
The other problem I had with this feeder is that the entry for the birds is small. Some of the more timid birds that would visit would get nervous when they felt trapped by other birds arriving. The clear bird feeder I upgraded to has open sides (not just the front) so it's easier for birds to feel comfortable when eating at it.
Would not recommend. - AlexisGood quality and sticks well!Love it. I have had a few of these and this one is good quality :)
