- L. KozakFirst Impression: Love ItFirst impression... Love it. Exactly what I was looking for. Space saving gadget that is very beneficial for saving food. Everything was brand new and in working order. Fits perfectly in my hand. So far, it seems to have quality, minus the power cord on the charging base. Very flimsy and over time, it will break even if handled with care. As far as the handheld unit, it is a solid performer. Worked very well removing air from the bags. I like that it includes the marinating container and 4 qt sized bags in this starter kit. A nice addition to practice using the vacuum sealer. Charging takes a long time. Requires up to 24 hours for a full charge. Mine took 12 hrs to fully charge after unboxing.
So far, no complaints on this FoodSaver Mini vacuum sealer. Also picked up the box of 10, quart sized bags. They worked well and therefore, no complaints on the storage bags, either. Recommend both products. - S walkerGreat little unit but uses only FoodSaver bagsWe have had a large FoodSaver vacuum system for decades, have gone through a couple. We waned a smaller version for items we use daily, deli meat, cheeses, etc. This little gem works very well but beware it only works with Foodsaver vacuum bags made for this purpose. Learned that the hard way.
- KGMind saver! These bags have saved my mine! So easy to use.
I love the little gadget that comes in every box it makes sure your bag is all the way closed before you seal it for sure. I could not find them in the store so I ordered here. Reusable and price is reasonable as well. These freeze without losing the seal. - Ernest L.Experiment a bit to get the best results⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ – Love the concept, but be prepared for some trial and error
I really like the idea behind these FoodSaver Reusable Quart Vacuum Zipper Bags — they’re convenient, eco-friendly, and versatile. But you’ll want to experiment a bit to get the best results.
I use them with my FoodSaver V4400 2-in-1 Vacuum Sealer Machine and the handheld accessory attachment. My plan was to store or freeze items like leftover cheese, English muffins, and meats.
✅ Tips & Observations:
English muffins: Pre-freeze before vacuuming! It helps keep their structure intact during sealing.
Cheese: Sliced cheese works better than shredded. The shredded kind tends to clump together after a couple of reseals due to the suction. Sliced cheese holds up well, but I did notice air creeping back in over time, so I had to reseal a few times. Make sure the top seal snaps securely into place.
Bacon: Works great! Since I use it often, I didn’t notice any air pockets forming.
???? Cleaning:
They’re easy to wash, but drying takes patience. Even though they’re dishwasher-safe, you’ll still need to let them air dry for a full day and finish with a paper towel to remove any remaining moisture. That’s not a dealbreaker, just something to plan for.
???? Final Thoughts:
Overall, I’m very happy with these bags. They’re reusable, easy to clean, and great for certain foods. I’ll just be selective about what I store in them and take extra care when drying and sealing.

I have a much larger FoodSaver, but this little one comes in very handy for the resealable bags. I really enjoy the convenience of being able to use the resealable bags on items I know I’m going to use often. This thing takes up minimal space and it’s alarmingly loud like my standard FoodSaver. Personally I like the newer bags with the black and green port. I use these for meats, vegetables, and dry goods. They are a game changer. If you cook a lot at home or shop at Costco, this mini and the bags are an excellent addition to your kitchen.
- Amazon CustomerPretty good approach to resealable vacuum baggingI had been looking at vacuum Seal bags over a long period of time. But really put off because of the size of the equipment to do the bag sealing and because of the waste of plastic When you have to throw away the bag. So when I saw this food saver resealable bag outfit i was impressed by the compactness of the equipment, The simplicity of a sealing operation and the efficient use of plastic. So I gave it a try and got it about 5 days ago. I put some chicken that I wanted to keep inside the first quart sized bag, sealed the bag and put it in the freezer and I did that for 3 bags.
The seal is tight on all 3, even after 5 days in the freezer. There is 0 frost inside the bag and all I can really see Is the chicken meat in the bag, But nothing else. So I am very optimistic that this is gonna work.
I did one thing that may turn out to be an advantage. I first put a 1/2 lb of sliced chicken in a normal ziploc bag, But did not fully seal it. Then I took that ziploc bag and I put it inside the food saver Resealable bag. And then I pulled the vacuum on the foodsaver bag, and all the air from the ziploc bag and from inside the foodsaver bag also came out. The advantage is that when I defrost The food saver bag and remove the ziplock bag, then I already have the chicken inside a ziploc bag that I can open and close as many times as I want. And the food saver bag never gets dirty Because it never comes in direct contact with the chicken. It should be simple to wash the food saver bags which should last longer by doing that.
We'll see how it turns out.
3 weeks frozen, no frost, no leakage. 30sec microwave, then open up vacuum bag, remove food, wash vacuum bag. No issues. - B. L. PotterEasier to use then roll of bags areThese are the best vacuum sealer bags, zipper is perfect for reuseing purpose. We use a small hand held air remover we bought this summer for pool floats and it worked perfectly with these bags, great value also, the rolls were too hard to seal up with a heat sealer machine I had in the past, these are extremely easy to use.
- msmo53Works great and seals tight.I like this size freezer bag. When the white label looks ragged, they stop sealing well. I get months of dependable service before that happens.
