- KatGreat camera bird feeder! Great gift for yourself or the Audubon society member in your life :)This thing is truly awesome. To start off, the packaging is really lovely. Nice packaging is a big deal to me - I don't like giving a gift in boring, obviously cheap, or ugly packaging.
Secondly, I love how easy everything is to set up. The manual is super straightforward and tells you everything you need to do to get going. It only took me about 10 minutes from box to watching for birds :)
Thirdly, I really love all the accoutrements. I thought it was really cool they included all the peripherals you need for any use case of the bird feeder. You can mount it to a tree, either screwing it in or using the provided strap if you don't want to put holes in the tree. You can mount it on a post, or on a wall, or even let it stand free if you have a sturdy place for it. I also love all the bits for different kinds of birds! There are little fruit spears to attract birds who like to eat fresh fruit. There's a nectar attachment for hummingbirds. There a suet ball (which attracted a most unusual bird for us lol...see photos!)
Lastly, the software - I found the app extremely intuitive and easy to use. We all loved that you don't have to subscribe to anything to use the bird feeder as intended, and there aren't a bunch of advertisements or pop-ups trying to convince us to pay more money.
