- M BOne Trick Pony Single Use ProductThe software requires you to register a email and key -after installation- to use the software. It can not be uninstalled and then re-installed on the same system or any other if you have issues or want to move it. That's it. Once used you can never use the key again. If you upgrade or your system is corrupted you're out of luck and $25 bucks to boot. The software developer makes it clear you need to pay again to reinstall or move the software. This type of software license was attempted in the 90's by greedy software developers. It was challenged in court and found to be in violation of the purchasers property and use rights. For that reason it's implementation was considered a resounding failure and consumers avoided the tactic and the software developers that used it like the plague. The software also has not recovered any intact files on a deep scan and I think compared to Final Data it is missing over half the deleted content on the hard drive.

The software indicated that there was 119 GB to be recovered after the recovery process only 12.7 GB were recovered. If you go with the mentality that something is better than nothing then it's good, but for someone like me who was hoping to recover everything, I'm a bit disappointed. I will say this though, in my long search for the best recovery software I haven't seen one that can recover everything fully Some of the files recovered are sometimes corrupted and unseeable. As far as I know there is no perfect solution so I don't hold it completely against this software but I cannot deny it disappointed - customerNO TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR SUPPORTTook a long time to check hard drive, then the files that software added did not work using about everything I had to open. Instructions are terrible, results will not open, and there is no support to help. Don't waste your time.
