Cute size and lovely space fits well when you have a small room - JCHCOPretty much 100%, still figuring out the best way to make it “cooler”, overall superior value! A+I love the insulated glass door, the aesthetics, and the incredible value and versatility of this item—built in look, under the counter, freestanding. It all works just ensure proper airflow.
The function is decent but my qualm is that it says it can cool down lower (like a refrigerator versus an electrostatic wine cooler >42F) but not quite cool enough for an ice cold soda.
Load it up and turn it down, it’ll take a day or so from empty to get everything to the base temp, which honestly I wish it got a little colder…I’ve yet to see how much it raises my electric bill but I think based on the output energy it’ll be reasonable or largely efficient compared to others.
The size is just as displayed and advertised and the aesthetics are really why I can’t give it less the four stars. It has the the appeal of something that would cost thousands for the storage and appearance and versatility but the value is absolute there and the ease of setup is absolutely as easy you as you could expect-this could change depending on how simple (freestanding) or built in (under cabinet) style of installation.
Weight really isn’t relevant here but it does feel solid and well made and not “too light” or cheaply made but what you would expect of a device of this form and function. So far it’s been a great addition that we hope will keep going for a while at our lake house bar! - vivianNice and quietVery nice and well made mini fridge. Unfortunately, it's obvious that the manufacturer has made the decision to apply a sticky plastic film to the exterior sheet metal -PRIOR- to construction of the unit. The result is that all subsequent work on the sheet metal during construction - bending, adding the refrigeration unit to the back, adding the door, applying screws - is performed on the sheet metal WHILE THAT FILM IS IN PLACE.
The end result is that attempting to remove the film cleanly is impossible - it gets stuck under the machine screws, behind the fridge door, under the sheet metal folds, etc. I was very careful trying to remove the film initially, and then followed up with an exacto knife and tweezers for 2 hours and still was not able to remove all of the bits of shredded plastic.
The end result is that a keen eye can see bits and pieces of plastic poking out from every edge and orifice of the refrigerator. It makes the entire unit unsuitable for public display.
If you're hoping to use this as part of a kitchen or bar where the unit will be on display, I highly encourage you to pick a different unit, or you like me will regret the amount of time you have to spend removing plastic from impossible-to-reach places. - SuzaJust right.. and quietPurchased to replace an old wine fridge. It fit perfectly in the space and has such a good look to it. Most importantly, very quiet. Only negative is the lighted display, which is so bright it lights up the room. We covered it up with a tiny bit of electrical tape. You can’t even tell.
