We have a 2009 Ram 4x4 crew cab with a cap, there was a day when I either had to leave snow on the roof that would fly into the vehicles in front of me or I risked falling off a ladder getting it off! I can recall where I first say this but WOW! it sure worked well and never left a scratch on the paint.
Now my son has the same truck in Ames Iowa at college, he was sad to say that after all these years snow broom #1 finally died. I was lucky and last week they were still in stock. DONT BUY a cheap-o knock-off but the original like I did again.

- James RichmondWorks but the handle needs improvementWorked great for one winter when it functioned properly. Removed snow easily and thoroughly. This past winter the handle, unexpectedly, decided to stop functioning as designed. It's likely some plastic piece inside the handle that broke due to the combination of cold temperatures and cheap quality. I am able to extend and retract the handle but it does not lock into place. It is still usable to remove snow but I'm left with a SnoBrum that whimsically elongates and retracts depending on the motion. Kind of annoying to have to manage when it's 10 degrees outside and I just want to get the 12 inches of snow off the car and drive to work in the morning. Also, rough ice on the windshield (or anywhere) will eat up the soft foam head pretty quick. All in all, OK product, just wish it was a little more robust to hold up for longer than one season.
