So I got another one. I continue to love these plushies but my new one (the orange/black one) has like a little bump over his right side eye and also has like a line through his right eye that looks kind of like a scar. His face is also a tiny bit crooked. I still love him and am not sending him back but he is a little "off". I paid $15 for him so I think the quality should be better than this.

He is very soft and a good size. I think the reversing feature works a lot better on the octopuses (octopi?) then the turtles. I originally got a turtle and loved him so much I wanted to get a octopus too and I think I love the octopus the best! The side on the inside allows the octopus to lay more flat than the turtle, so the octopus is more stable than the turtle.
More about the octopus: he is a very nice blue color. I know he's supposed to be sleeping, but I like to think he's awake and meditating until we go to bed at night, then he is sleeping. I like to think he gets angry when you interupt his meditation too much, which is why he gets enraged. I pretty much keep him on the sleepy/meditation side though.
I got him on deal for $11.59 (reg price $15) which I would definitely pay for again. I do think the regular price is a little high, but I'd still buy him for it.
I think these cute lil octopuses would be perfect as a gift. I'd definitely buy more, but I think he prefers being my only octopus. He doesn't seem to want friends. Lol
