I tend to still have some ice left in it after around 24-36 hours. The handle seems good quality as well, I dont think it'll break anytime soon. I was most surprised about how light weight this was. I have 2 complaints/observations, they dont effect the 5 stars im giving it so they are minor. First is it tends to topple easily, that'd probably just me being clumsy though. The second thing is super minor, but if you are OCD, youll definitely notice it. When you tighten the lid on, if your handle is at 3 o'clock, the straw is at 7 o'clock. Another plus, the thread on the lid will account for both left handed and right handed people, it will tighten to both sides. Ive only used cold drinks in this so can't say anything about keeping things hot.

The lid has three positions, which is nice when I want to switch between using the straw or closing it up to prevent spills. It actually fits in my truck’s cup holder without wobbling, which surprised me considering the size. Most important, it keeps water cold for hours. I can leave it in the car during errands and still come back to ice.

I love the fact that I can put ice in this cup with water and it stays cold for days. I only use it for water, which makes it that much easier to clean. Never worried about it falling or leaking. I always have a straw topper on there and the amount of different straw toppers you get makes it that much more fun. This is an amazing cup and even if you don’t get it on sale, it’s worth every penny.

No need for ice for this thing! - My Public Unique NameGood Cup - Lacking Accessories\Options for The Price PaidFor what you are paying, I expect this to come with multiple lids of different styles. I have an Iron Flask (stanley knock off) cup that has like 3 different lids that they threw in as included. This is important, since the Stanley cup's lid is not ambidextrous! the lid has the straw nearer to the edge, so when you screw the lid in, you have to be careful to align it to how you will carry the cup.... if you switch hands during the day, you wont be able to with the stanley cup as easily because the straw is pointed away from you! Its annoying....
This can be easily solved by making the straw come through the CENTER like on all the other cups you have ever bought. Then its a non problem. the Iron flask does this.
But aside from that, its a good quality product, keeps drinks cold for a very long time. And a very good design element that this has is that the lip of the cup is polished stainless steel... this is an improvement over the iron flask and other competitors since those cups have PAINT leading up to the lid and over time the paint chips off! POSSIBLY in your water!
This happened to me on my worn iron flask cup. I fear I may have drank small chips of black paint for the months ive used it. Very concerning indeed.
So the stanley wins on that front.
The stanley cup fits in most cup holders, CAN leak if you hold it upside down, but its very minor\manageable. All cups that have straws do this.
I use a stanless straw with a silicon tip, I do not use the included plastic straw btw...

Ice lasts 24+ hours — filled at 7 AM, still cubes at 8 PM in 75°F heat. Coffee stays hot 6+ hours. The FlowState lid is 100% leak-proof — tossed in my bag, zero drips.
Handle + straw = perfection:
Comfy grip, straw clicks in tight, and rotating lid cover keeps it clean. Fits car cup holder. Dishwasher safe — no rust/fading after 10 cycles.
Bottom line:
Built like a tank, performs like magic — worth every penny. (love the soft pink color, and how easy it is to clean.)
