After overcoming a couple of installation challenges it's a very quiet and nice looking addition to our kitchen. The electrical cable from our old dishwasher came up through the floor and connected directly to the underside of it. The new Bosch has a junction box that has to be mounted to the wall of an adjacent cabinet because it connects to the back of the dishwasher with a plug type connector. Not very difficult but still a pain, I also had to change the 20a breaker to a 15a in the service box.
The Bosch is very quiet and cleans better than the Maytag it replaced. The only thing we miss on the Maytag is the flat bottom rack without tines that allowed large dishes and pots. The Bosch has an upper rack for silverware and large flat utensils but it's not as useful to us as the lower rack in the Maytag. I've read other reviews that mentioned the dishes do not get completely dry at the end of the wash cycle but that has not been an issue for us. So far we're happy and enjoy using the Bosch.
