The last freezer I had was a Wanai, and I'd been having problems with it. Other than the digital temperature control, this one looks completely identical to the Wanai, including the instruction manual. I'm not sure what the relationship is, but the freezers must ultimately be made by the same company. But so far (a little over two weeks), this one has been working much better. It seems to keep the temperature consistent at the value you set it to, and it's running way less of the time than the other one. It also makes less noise when it clicks on and off.
I didn't have any issues with shipping.
Overall, I'd say it works as expected.
