The jars are thick, sturdy, and will be perfect for food storage. I did purchase separate plastic lids because the metal lids for canning tends to rust if you plan to use them repeatedly. Recommend????????

They are dishwasher safe, it holds a good amount inside and it has measurement markers which helps a lot. Over the years, some of them broke but I feel like it was more of an user and clumsy error than an a poor quality of the product.
