Top reviews from the United States
- DGI got a good oneWow! I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger because of some of the reviewers on here saying they got a terrible renewed iPad... I can assure you that the one that I received was in overall 4.5/5 condition. The screen looked brand new, and even the rest of the body didn't appear to have any sort of defects. The cellular connection I'm getting (Ting Mobile, baby) is as steady as my cell phone (I was a little worried that the cell antenna in these wouldn't be of great quality, but I'm happy to say it is.)
I've never owned any iPads, but recently got an iPhone and chose this over other tablets because I know Apple retina displays are actually very nice. Colors come across as vivid. Resolution turned up to the point where you're really struggling to make out individual pixels, and the screen is bright enough that I'm not struggling to see this in the car. And I bought this because I wanted a nice, big screen to look at when I'm in the car. One note about the display - it's a 4:3 display rather than the more contemporary 16:9 displays of the Android tablet world. That makes this about a ~9"-9.3" display when watching content with a 1.777:1 or 1.85:1 aspect ratio which are the standard aspect ratios for films/TV shows (which is why your TV at home is a 16:9 aspect ratio!) Back to car use, the GPS works very well alongside cellular data. There are some cool navigation apps available on Apple, plus now I don't feel left out when there's other neat apps for Apple that I can't get on my Android phone. Also there are actually so many good accessories available for this thing because Apple has a small product line in comparison to the dozens of Android tablets and phones coming out each year from numerous manufacturers which equals lots of accessories with not so many reviews.
I chose this specific model because it's the newest cellular Apple tablet at this price point. As of now, it's about 2-3 years old. The other ones I found on Amazon around the $200-300 range were as old as 8 years and without cellular, which is why I spent the extra money for something like this. I am happier than I was when I made my impulse buy which is impressive. You really do get a lot of tech for the money. A new 64gb iPad 10.2 with cellular is $459. This is only 32gb, and with a fresh install of iOS you get 23gb available to you. A little worried it won't be enough for me, but I'll probably manage.
My only con so far is that the battery had a weird glitch. When you're in a high state of charge, it seems to be discharging at a slow enough rate. I got down to around 40% after using it for about 4 hours after using it to stream Hulu using cell data with full brightness. Then while using it with GPS on and streaming Spotify with full brightness on, it jumped from about 35% down to 20% within a few minutes. I can't complain too much because this is a 3 year old device about 2/3rds the price of new.
I got mine from the seller "techexchangee" - came with a 5v/2.4a charger (or 12 watt) charger plus cable. Shipped in a plain box with lots of bubble wrap. Again, from the outside, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was renewed.
P.S. On Amazon, I found a tablet mount for a car using a CD player and that thing is great. Highly recommend that if you want to use this in a car. It's the "APPS2CAR universal car mount CD slot" for $20. - RaymondBest BuyFirst of all, I was very skeptical about purchasing a used iPad, but let me tell you it was the best decision I made in a while it was such a great decision that I bought two so the first one came and it was from the poor category and was in great condition 32 Gb seven GEN WiFi model no scratches on the screen and about 2 to 3 scratches near the top not noticeable if you just take a quick look. Got this one for my son for Christmas set up an everything works perfectly updated to the latest version os 18. After setting up, I was like man I get one for myself. So I did got the 32 gigs seven Gen 10.2 screen WiFi and cellular modem also bought from the same category and was an even better condition. Everything works perfectly no complaints. Thank you for offering. Great products and I couldn’t imagine how great of condition that these IPad came
- SkySo far, so good!Edit: two months later and pretty much everything I said is still true, except I noticed there is some dirt underneath the screen. Not on the screen, under it. I picked at the sides and there’s no screen protector. Hopefully it’s nothing serious like mold. Also, I’ve found that if I keep it on low power mode while I’m using it the battery lasts much longer. I can use it pretty much all day that way. I use it to draw, watch movies, and for light gaming.

I got mine in "good" condition and so far so good! I was able to turn mine on and sync my iCloud just fine. It loads most things pretty quickly and has great sound in the speakers. There are a couple tiny little darkened spots on the screen but they’re barely noticeable. The charge on it is not perfect, but it’s not bad either. It came with a charging cord and a plug, too. Overall, solid iPad.
Something worth mentioning: as of September 2025 the iPad 7th generation (which is what this model is) will no longer receive major IOS updates. It will only receive minor security updates and will not update past IOS 18. So if that’s something important to you, you would need to look at a newer model. For me; it isn’t a problem. Most modern apps will work on it for a long while to come. - Sister SimsterGood buy!So I learned an important lesson - don't read in bed on your iPad in case it slips behind the bed and gets crushed. Ugh. So off I went to Amazon to find a refurb, since I pretty much only use it to read and check emails, so buying a new one for a few hundred was out of the question and this one cost the same as a good e-reader. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best and ordered. I'd say for the $160 I paid for it was worth it, the battery life is great however there's some issue with the harddrive and it's got a few issues. Still, it gets the job done for me.
- ipadipad reviewA bit laggy. Came charged. Camera quality a little trash but overall it’s a good ipad for the price. it’s a tiny bit delayed when using it. Mine came in a white box with the charger and two stickers on it. Definitely recommend for business things and it’s a good size.
- IrishA Really Good Renewed 2019 7th Generation iPadThis is the first time having an Apple IPad and has taken some getting used to after using a MacBook Pro for 12 years. This 2019 IPad is working great and I have had it since early August this year. It arrived safely and well packaged with no problem. The IPad came in a nice case to use as a stand as well. The IPad had no scratches on the glass…nice and clean. Like I said it took some getting used to how to operate it but I soon caught on to everything. The only thing that is different from my laptop is the screen is ultra sensitive and will go off in other places unless you keep your fingers entirely away from the screen. Using the IPad cover will help with that. I use my finger to go where I need to but mostly use the Apple Pencil…….My internet speed is great with this iPad and screen size is good. I believe I got a good deal and would buy from this seller again. ( please take into consideration I am still finding out a lot about this iPad. It has so much to offer as far as apps and such)
