I’ve tried many different brands and I always come back to Stanley because nothing keeps my drink colder and keeps ice truly overnight even though it’s not completely sealed (I have a straw in it.) I have not found any other travel mug I like better.. I have to say I like the quality overall. This one was at a great price and I could not resist and, I’m so glad I did not.
- Ginger AMy Go-To Tumbler - Holds Plenty and Looks GreatI've been using the Stanley quencher for a few weeks now and honestly I'm impressed. Right out of the box it feels super sturdy and well made with a nice weight to it.
I like that I can easily sip on water or my energy drink throughout the days without worrying about spills.
The finish looks good. I love the color pink and it held up well so far- no scratches or dents even after everyday use, it's also comfortable to hold on and fits nicely in my car's cup holder. I've used lots of tumblers before, but this one stands out; because it's truly practical big capacity, durable build and great at keeping drinks cold. I will fill my cup up with ice in the morning and put a drink in it. I will refill it with drink a couple of times during the day, and when I come in to work the next morning, it will still have quite a bit of ice in it. I've taken it to the baseball fields in the middle of summer with me, and it keeps my drinks cold all day. The quality is superb to other cups I have used. It's easy to drink from, whether you use the straw or drink from the hole in the lid. I got it on sale, but it would be worth paying full price. The color is beautiful!!!

I am a mail carrier in the mountains and there’s no where to stop on my route so I have to have something that keeps the ice frozen melting. It’s also easier to clean than the Starbucks cup and holds more drink. It fits well into my cup holder and is easy to access and use.

My drink stays cold and many a day the ice last 24-36hours, the ice retention is 5stars! This is why I love the Stanley brand. The cup is sturdy and strong. I have a couple 48oz cups but just recently bought the purple 20oz cup. Top quality cup. The 20oz is easier to carry and take in the car. You have the option of using the provided straw or without. You will not be disappointed.
- My Public Unique NameGood Cup - Lacking Accessories\Options for The Price PaidFor what you are paying, I expect this to come with multiple lids of different styles. I have an Iron Flask (stanley knock off) cup that has like 3 different lids that they threw in as included. This is important, since the Stanley cup's lid is not ambidextrous! the lid has the straw nearer to the edge, so when you screw the lid in, you have to be careful to align it to how you will carry the cup.... if you switch hands during the day, you wont be able to with the stanley cup as easily because the straw is pointed away from you! Its annoying....
This can be easily solved by making the straw come through the CENTER like on all the other cups you have ever bought. Then its a non problem. the Iron flask does this.
But aside from that, its a good quality product, keeps drinks cold for a very long time. And a very good design element that this has is that the lip of the cup is polished stainless steel... this is an improvement over the iron flask and other competitors since those cups have PAINT leading up to the lid and over time the paint chips off! POSSIBLY in your water!
This happened to me on my worn iron flask cup. I fear I may have drank small chips of black paint for the months ive used it. Very concerning indeed.
So the stanley wins on that front.
The stanley cup fits in most cup holders, CAN leak if you hold it upside down, but its very minor\manageable. All cups that have straws do this.
I use a stanless straw with a silicon tip, I do not use the included plastic straw btw...

She needs a new one and wanted the smaller one as it fits in her car's cup holder better. So, since her brother did not know what to buy her for Christmas, I offered to him to get her the Stanley from him. I said that this would be her favorite Christmas gift (even though she was getting a lot this year). He said yes, and sure enough, when she opened the box, she was thrilled. The right size and the color she really wanted too. Stanley's are durable and quality made. They really do last a long time.
