- BenThe Best (By Far!!) snowbrush I have ever purchased!Ok... I know it's just a snowbrush, but when you live somewhere that you need a snowbrush why not pay the extra $15 over a basic snowbrush bought at a convenience store. Imagine it's February AND you just worked 10 hours but your car was parked in the elements all day so now you have to remove 4 or more inches of snow from your car before you can drive home, believe me, you will be extremely glad to own this product.
The large brush size, along with its sturdy bristles makes removing large amounts of even heavy snow easy, effective, and efficient. I was skeptical that it would work very well on wetter/heavy snow and I can tell you it does. The squeeze on the opposite side is definitely nice, and if you can add a feature that doesn't take away from the device or its other more used pieces why not. The ice scraper is extremely effective, I have never had an issue with it and the average temp where I live was 15 degrees, with low temps consistently in the single digits during January.
I have a newer model Subaru Outback and when I originally purchased this model I thought it would probably end up being longer than I needed but it's actually just about perfect I rarely extend it all the way but use it often at almost full length, and yes the fact that there are, I believe, 6 length settings you can lock into place is very convenient.
The only thing I gave 4 stars was sturdiness because when you do use it at full length and the snow is heavy it will bend a bit and because this is my first winter with it and I would like to see how it holds up after a couple of years. Also, I forgot to mention the padded foam around the main handle which is a great comfort feature. Also once contracted to its smallest length and moving the brush head position parallel to the handle it is a reasonable size you can fir easily in your trunk or backseat floor. I know I'm not going to be breaking it down into its individual pieces and putting it back in its bag each time I use it haha.
For the cost, especially the cost, it will provide you real-life time saved, ease of use, and quality that makes this something any car owner should get if they live or spend time in winter conditions during the year. very happy with it. It broke last week as I was knocking snow off the top of a coworker’s SUV, but I love it so much I bought another to replace it. It is so convenient how you can take it apart into smaller segments. I love the reach this gives. I am 5’5”, so it can be really hard to reach across to the center of the vehicle or reach the top, especially with large SUVs and pickup trucks. The length of this is perfect for reaching where I cannot otherwise. And the grips are cushioned, so it is comfortable to hold, and protects your hands from what could otherwise be a cold post/stick. They reminded me that this product comes with a 2 year warranty and offered a replacement or refund. In preparation for an upcoming snowstorm, I had already ordered a more simple (AstroAI) snowbrush. In return, I've upped my rating for this review to reflect their customer service, and due to my negligence in not reaching out to the seller first. With that said, I'm encouraging any buyer to reach out to their sellers first for any issues.
This brush worked great out of the box. I liked the modular design being able to extend the length to reach over our compact SUV. The included carry bag was a nice touch to stow away everything outside of winter.
However, in just a touch over a year since I purchased this brush, the brush end has snapped off the stick from just knocking it against a tire to clear off the snow in the bristles before putting it back in the car. In the product pictures, that silver plate of the brush just snapped off from the black tube.
I wouldn't say the brush has gone through heavy usage since the Boston area has gotten very little snow in the past year - I can probably count on one hand how many times this brush has been used. - Kih WolfBest thing for anyone with unpredictable weather changesAbsolutely wonderful and exactly what I was looking for. The squeegee part is a little stiff due to being brand new but by the second use was working perfectly. I am happy with the large option as I have a sedan and live in Wisconsin so snow fall in a winter can become wet and heavy plus a lot of it. The large will help me to remove the snow from the top of my car, plus when I am not in need of the length I can separate it into two separate parts: one for scraping frost and one for the brush and squeegee. It’s very easy to put together and take apart without any kind of breaking. The padded handles make it nice so your hands don’t feel like they are getting frostbite from handling just metal. Love that the scraper actually directs where the frost goes making for a lot easier clean up. Hands down the best purchase I have ever made for snow, frost and rain removal all in one. BUY THIS!!
- JRExcellent snow brush!I live in an area of the country that experiences some heavy snow storm and a lot of heavy wet snow. This arrived during one such heavy snow fall. The instructions were clear and easy to follow in the assembly. Once assembled this thing is huge and then add the extension feature and it is long. I used it to brush about eight inches of heavy snow off of my full size truck and did not have to go around to the other side except to clean the side windows.
This did great in the heavy wet snow and with a slightly wider head I was able to move more snow on each pass.
Others have complained about it not lasting because of parts being plastic. This could be an issue if you don't respect the material it is made of. If you force or misuse any item it will be damaged. However this appears to be built well. - Dallin CookScraper, squeegee, brush- it does it all!I’ve had a few window scrapers in my day but this one takes the cake. It’s compact yet sturdy, works great for my truck (which I can’t say for other scrapers) and was a great price for what you get. Not too shabby!
