Outside our back door, there's a small hill that consists mainly of dirt. When we get a heavy rain storm, we get a mini-mudslide the ends up on our patio. I've used a regular shovel to scrape the dirt off, but it was a difficult process. Not so with this shovel. It was so much easier and faster with this shovel because of how wide it is, how sturdy it is, and how easy it is to use.
This shovel came put together in a large box, so I feel confident that it will stay put together. The shovel itself is metal, not plastic, so it's probably going to last a lot longer. I highly recommend this shovel, and I really hope we never get enough snow to where we have to use it for that purpose. - Just a GalLooks good so farI only gave it 4 stars because it hasn't snowed yet. So far, it's a nice sturdy shovel that's light enough in weight for me to handle (117 lbs 5'3"). Handle is nice and comfortable as well, I'll let you know how it does once we get snow, and we shall!
