Top reviews from the United States
- Michael CaseyDon't waste your moneyVery ineffective product, not worth the money
- Butch JohnsonMelted My Wallet But Not The IceI hate leaving bad reviews but the only thing this stuff melted was my expectations. It promises to melt ice in temperatures as low as -15 degrees but when I applied it to icy surfaces at 20 degrees it just sat there on the surface mocking me.
So I poured on more than the suggested amount and that just left me with a bigger pile of failure (eventually, each grain melted its own tiny little hole and sank below the surface which would be great if...actually, no, there was nothing great about that result).
It briefly added traction to the ice which was a minor win but as kitty litter could have done the same thing for a lot less money (and probably would have stayed on the surface continuing to add traction instead of just disappearing uselessly below the surface) I can't say this product was worth it.
I dunno. Maybe I used it wrong. But if a product like this requires more detailed instructions than "pour on ice and snow and watch the water molecules unstack" for it to work, it's probably not useful for most folks.
It IS a pretty bluish lavender so you'll having something attractive to look at while it sits there doing nothing.
