- TimLove this new version!If you have used the old VideoStudio products don’t be afraid to get this new version. I used the old VideoStudio Pro 4X for many years. And it took time to learn it. I didn’t want to switch brands and have to learn a whole new system. This is very familiar so pretty easy to switch over. Love the updates. It rendered a 4 four minute HD video in less than a minute .
- Amazon CustomerDO NOT BUY THIS & WASTE UR MONEY 0 starsFirst of all this only gets one star because I have to give it at least that to submit the review. I got this to edit videos. It does not perform as shown in the description or the video. Very hard to work with and u have to purchase all the options even though u already paid for the editor. After waiting 5 hours for the editor to render my video for YouTube it then tells me it’s to big! This is after I had to allow Videostudio to know my personal private information to sign into YouTube! If it was to big it should have told me that before I gave up my information! I cannot get my money back as this is a non refundable non returnable item. I’m extremely pissed about that! I wasted my money n still need an editor! The free editor on my phone works way better n has more options n it’s free! Needed an editor for my videos I record with my camera! Please don’t buy this! I hope this review helps others to save their money in the future!
UPDATE: Two days after using this editor my computer would not turn on, nor has it turned on since. This editor fried my computer! Another expense added to this whole ordeal, super super pissed! I just now had the money to get a new computer, 6 months later! Very disappointed! - Al YHas its glitchesThe software's format is similar to older versions, which is a good thing. My issue with the software is the inability for it to remember my screen setup which i have to go into settings half the time to load my preferred setup. But the biggest inconvenience is, when rendering a video file it either freezes or shuts down the program itself and i have to start over again. Might be time to choose a different video editing software next time.

You can create and customize your own videos and slideshows. The timeline took a little time to understand, and get used to. The video tutorials helps you learn and get a better understanding of the program. I would have rated the program 5 out of 5. But, it's missing the specials effects feature. Overall its a cool video editing software.
