  • 4K kicks butt.
I just got this today and it's going to be a while before I get at it because I bought a bunch of actual 4K quality DVDs.
  • Amazing quality
Every other Blu-ray manufacturer should take note; this is how you create a box set! The design with the vinyl-like sleeves that open like a book with beautiful pictures and poster art. Not to mention the quality of video is just about perfect. The colors are perfectly preserved thanks in part to HDR, and contains all the notes and quirks of the original, especially Vertigo, specifically the delusion scene. Watching that scene, I felt like the original theater goers of the 60's, in the Panavision™ theater, seeing the intensity, vivid colors, special effects, and feeling the paranoia. If your a Alfred Hitchcock fan, get a 4k tv with HDR, buy ALL the box sets, and watch the films the way there ment to.
  • Excellent
    Third Hitchcock collection. Excellent movies
  • Wonderful collection of classics
Hitchcock is a master and this collection reminds you why. If you’re not already a fan, you will be after seeing this set.
  • Loved it
    Promptly delivered
  • Great set for under $50
I waited a year or so to purchase the Hitchcock 4K sets. It's worth the wait, Universal does a great upscaling his films on 4K.
  • Hitchcox movies
Bought for daughter for xmas she loves them an the price was ok.
  • "Wonderful. What More Can I Say !
This is a great set of Alfred Hitchcock films . This is the 3rd collection of Hitchcock movies that originally came in a velvet case of 14 . I had it years ago but somehow lost it . This collection is in Blu-ray and in 4k . I like the Blu-ray versions better than the 4k which is not 'all that good in color and clarity . So I am NOT a 4k fan by no means . This 3rd collect has 5 films and the 2nd set had 5 and the 1st had 4 films so this complete the 14 set of films . I'm not going to comment on the first two collections because I'm only concerned about this 3rd set . "Rope" is a stagy mystery starring James Stewart , Farley Granger and John Dall . I give film 3 stars because it's too much like a stage play and to much discussion talk , talk , talk .
"Torn Curtain" was rather slow and boring to me . How could it be with Paul Newman and Julie Andrews as it's stars ! Well yjat's only my humble opinion . So I gave it 2 stars . "Frenzy" is a completly English thriller that I enjoyed very much in spite of not knowing anyone in the cast . This is probably like one of the films Hitch made in England before he came to Hollywood. I give "Frenzy" 4 stars . "topaz" is a spy thriller that you will be at the edge of your seat watching it . Now last but not least is "The Man who Knew Too Much" with James Stewart again and is my favorite in this set . I give it 5 stars . Doris Day who is one of my all-time favorites plays his wife in this thriller about a couple who go on vacation who become involved in an International assassination plot and their little boy gets kidnapped for blackmail . This of course is not a musical , but Doris Day sings one of her most famous hits in it 'WHATEVER WILL BE WILL BE'. The song is
important to the plot of the film . I saw this movie a couple of times when it first came out in the 50's .
Being my favorite movie in the set I of course gave it 5 stars . Each DVD gives a lot of information on each film on it . The Making of . Production notes . Trailers and etc. etc. etc., for those who enjoy that kind of material . There's hours of enjoyment in this set . As a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock films I highly recommend this set .
Now the cardboard slip case it came in is very attractive , but it is rather hard to pull the DVD's out of each slip case ( if that's what you would call it .
