- LHWGreat cooktop!We bought the Gasland 36” cooktop to replace the one we had. It comes with a template to measure the hole before installation. We did have to cut off a very small corner of granite on each side of the back because we previously had an in counter exhaust hood that we removed. Thankful for the template to help with that. The cooktop was easy to install and the tips to convert it to propane were labeled so you didn’t have to guess. This is a wonderful feature if you’re installing yourself. One of the safety features of this cooktop is that you can’t accidentally turn on the gas without knowing it. I had that happen with our previous one while cleaning and set my CO alarms off. This cooktop was much less expensive than others we looked at but is a great quality, great performing appliance. It is easy to clean. I love the black with my black countertops. This cooktop is well worth the money.
- Lion Hearted GuyCheck thoroughly before installation!TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL BY THIRD PARTY SELLER! Cooktop had a sharp piece of steel casting sticking out of the corner where it dropped into the the cutout, causing a nasty cut to my finger. I had to use a Dremel tool with a grinding wheel to flatten it down. Also had some sort of epoxy buildup and bad scratches along with flaking paint, wow. Unfortunately a refund or replacement by Amazon could not be done for 6 weeks!!!! Excessive amount of time to be left without a cooktop. They offered me $30 for the trouble. Underwhelming.

- Tommy VandelloI would definitely recommend this cooktop.I worked with gas appliances for 30 years. This cook top looks and works great. Very smooth operating valves. I bought the 4 year warranty but doubt I will need it. It wasn't exactly the same size as the cooktop we removed so we had to modify the cabinet . Burner grates seem to be heavy duty.
