  • why it's good!
great dystopian sci-fi. with awesome story line, some plot twists, action, and comedy! A lot of fun. And if you ever played the game, this story is completely true to the game lore. Fans will appreciate it, though it's not necessary to know to enjoy the show. But it does add a lot to the flavor lol.
  • Great writing and cast
Great show, very entertaining. Writing is on par and the cast is excellent.
  • One of the best adaptations to screen ever.
Goggins Ghoul character is awesome and the story of the post Fallout3 & 4 world has been really fun to watch. The adaptation to screen has been amazing.
  • Fallout as One has Never Seen It
Give or take some inaccuracies this show so far has done an amazing job depicting one of the greatest video game franchises of all time. It is extremely rare that film can depict the world of any video game so well, there have been many failures in the past and I would have to admit that I was skeptical about this series as well as excited. When season one dropped it was like they realization of a dream and this is coming from a lifelong fan of the series having started playing it since the late 90s with my father. Fallout 1 was my very first exposure to video games and given influenced other hobbies and careers in my life, being a historian and amateur writer of historical fiction and sic-fi. I could always be found playing a Fallout game on my laptop or reading in my local library or in the campus library. This series isn't just a franchise to me, it is my past, present, and future. With the news of more content around the corner including a remastered Fallout 3 and New Vegas I say the future looks bright for my favor video game series.
  • Great series with Obvious Real World Influences!
Man! They really nailed this series AND they were able to bring in influences from modern America!
You have Dr. Anthony Fauci played by Kyle MacLachlan, Barrack Hussein Obama played by Michael Cristofer, Jasmine Crockett played by Frances Turner, Ella Emhoff played by Xelia Mendes-Jones, Charlie Kirk played by Walton Goggins, Ilhan Omar played by Sisa Grey, Michael Richard Pence played by Chris Browning, Mark "Ze Zuck" Zuckerberg played by Jeremy Levick, Tyler James Robinson played by Cale Schultz (bit of a stretch there but it was obvious as the scene played on), and Ben Carson played by Aaron Moten.
I am currently watching the series so let's see how many other real life influences are brought on, but I am seeing what the writers did so far!
  • Best Expansion on Mentioned Lore
As a Fallout fan, this show is fantastic. It brings humor, darkness, awesome characters, and just hits the spot in terms of entertainment. Stop listening to the whiners, and give the show a chance. 10/10
  • Fallout (TV Series) Season1 & 2 : You don't have to know Fallout to enjoy this show. 4.5 Stars
Fallout (TV Series) Season1 and 2 : You don't have to know Fallout to enjoy this show. 4.5 Stars

Those familiar with the game franchise will appreciate how well this TV production has adapted the stories and lore for a live action series. Those unfamiliar with the game can still enjoy the the story arc and characters, because the writing is very good and the build out the game's lore linearly from Season 1 Episode 1. Great show!
  • Long commercials with bits of show in between
So far, season 2 is becoming a disappointment. The episodes are getting shorter but they're packing the same (or more) number of commercials. It was bad enough paying for Prime and getting commercials anyway, but they are really milking that cow to death. Adding insult to injury, there's an ad in the corner encouraging me to pay even more to "Go ad free". No thanks, I did that once and you screwed me over. Not falling for it again. Ease up on the greed there, Bezos.
The show itself is actually pretty good, it's the presentation that's subpar.
Did Amazon listen to its audience regarding commercials? Episode 8 had far fewer commercial interruptions, and the plot developed the rhythm good stories do. It was easier to see how the different storylines came together and carried the main plot forward. I called 'Ol Jeff out for excessive ads, so it's only fair I acknowledge the improvement. Thx, Jeff, and good job.
