- G.W.Great Budget TabletI bought the version with 256gig storage with 8gigs of ram. Performance is better with more ram. It plays most games well as long as you don't crank up the graphics settings to the max. This is one of the very few tablets out there with a microSD card slot and a headphone jack. That's important for those who love to have options. 90hz refresh rate is awesome but you can tell the display quality is where they had to cut corners if you compare it to the base ipad and some S series tablets.
The biggest con by far is the software. Lots of samsung and google bloatware apps. Most of them you can't uninstall, only disable. The other annoying thing is dex mode whenever you swipe down from the top. Wish there was an option to completely disable it. I'm sure this tablet would be miles better if there was a custom rom out there for this model. - JyMmE FaLzOnGreat but weak volume. 5starsDefinitely an upgrade from my 2020 Tab A7. But I find the speakers are not as loud. Use nightly at work playing music in a loud kitchen. A7 was a lot louder volume. I Have a Bluetooth speaker available. 100w Rockville Rockbox. Just not convinet to bring that with me every night. Maybe find a smaller Bluetooth speaker till then. 5 stars Android 16 is real good. Battery lasts forever. No more keeping old tablet plugged in.

Found this tablet and while it is not as user friendly as the $1300 dollar model it's still very good and so much less expensive! Very satisfied.
- JustTryingToBeHelpfulSignificant value in a compact and fully functional tablet.The screen is fantastic. It is very clear and bright. It has the Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array, which is better than the FHD of other laptops and desktop PCs I have. I don't detect any blurring or lag. The GPU/CPU looks to take full advantage of 6 GB of RAM for a full user experience. Games run fast, and touch response is exceptional.
This tablet is very thin but still sturdy with a solid feel. It charges quickly with the right charger and has excellent battery life. How the tablet is used does affect the battery life, but with my normal use it lasts all day. If the battery does get low, it accepts a fast charger.
Set up with effortless. Just selected my phone, and it pulled everything over via Bluetooth. WiFi worked instantly. This has no problem connecting at 5Ghz for high-speed transfers and streaming. It has excellent range throughout our house. It works much better than other tablets, computers, and cell phones. The setup also transferred over all accounts and apps with licenses as required. Everything works flawlessly.
The quick start guide does mention installing a memory card, but the internal 128Gb goes a long way. I can always add it later if I need it. This has exceptional connectivity through WiFi and USB-C 2.0 for transferring data as required, and for a quick backup. I can quickly transfer a movie to this when I want to watch it offline.
I have other brand Android tablets and cell phones and really find Samsung's implementation to be superior. Samsung covers all the bases, and it is very intuitive to use. There is not a lot of hunting around for settings and features. Application icons show up where I expect them.
The built in quad speakers powered by Dolby Atmos produce a much bigger sound environment that is outstanding to listen to. It surrounds the sound around you. It is very clear and spacious. Use with earbuds is also superior. There is plenty of volume to drive even low efficiency earbuds.
Camera is very good. Clear and sharp images. Good resolution. I don't use the camera much but it is handy for a quick picture when needed.
The two year factory warranty is much longer and has more coverage than is typical for tablets. Samsung can provide this because of the high quality and stability they build into each and every tablet.
This is an exceptional value for the price, quality, functionality, and included 2 year warranty.
