I have been waiting for this book for SO LONG (7 days). Listen I know that’s not that bad, but every day hurted. After reading the first book and falling so hopelessly in love with it, having to wait any length of time was agony. I am NOT being dramatic. But rest assured, I didn’t die from my heartbreak of having to wait, and I got to jump into this book as soon as it downloaded on my kindle at midnight. And this author did not disappoint me. This book was so extremely good, and I actually might think that it was better than the first one. There was so much crazy stuff in this, but I’ll get to that in the minute. Let me tell you about the book first.

Btw you can’t read this book without reading the first one. It is impossible. You’ll be major confused. Read volume 1 first!!

Okay here’s the juice.

We pick up on this book roughly 2 months after the first one ends. Evan is getting his cafe ready for his grand opening, and he’s just a little ball of anxiety. He’s nervous that nobody will come to his cafe, and the ones that will come, will hate his food. So yeah, our new business owner is a little nervy. Thank goodness he has so many people that love and care for him, and they do their best to calm him. These people include all the knights he’s friends with, Prince Sawyer, Kuya the cat-boy, and his very hot partners Maddox and Briar. Evan has so much love surrounding him. And in this book, he gains some more. We get to know his third love interest, Lake, as well as some new friends he makes. It was so fun and so sweet.

The sex in the last book was great with 2 partners. Add in a third, and it’s just amazing. With Evan having three partners (as of right now), we get such a variety of sex scenes. Not a vanilla moment in sight. It’s all deliciously dirty. I’m going to explode once Evan reaches his 5 partners. I can’t imagine how much dirtier it can get.

We get introduced to Evan’s 4th love interest towards the end of the book. Nothing dirty happens with them yet, Evan basically just tells the reader that he’s the next one, but I am so excited for that man. He was very hot. Very very hot.

This book has a lot more surprises in it than the last one. It’s also mostly toward the end, but it was so wack. The ending was also cliffhanger-ish. I still have yet to figure out what’s going on, and I haven’t had a decent night’s sleep since. When I first finished the book, My friend and I were texting at like 2:45 am and we were like what!!!! is!!!! happening!!!! I’m hoping the next book will shed some light because I need to know thank you!!

PLEASE read this book. It’s so sweet and so funny and so sexy and so cute and so magical and GAH!! I’m so in love with this, and I’m so glad Evan got sent to the fantasy world.

This was so good, it's crazy how each installment has been over 300 pages yet it goes by so fast. I really appreciate that even though we've been told the Evan harem will consist of 5 men we didn't get all 5 of them thrown at us at once. I like that we get to see Evan build a bond with each love interest and then see that new love interest start to fit into his new family. Not only is it more realistic that way, it also gives us lots of page time for adorable and wholesome moments. Each of the men have also been very distinct, they each bring something unique and important to the relationshop. Although this book is relatively low angst there is a great bit of mystery as we keep getting hints and then as we figure them out even more hints are dropped. The storyline is getting more and more complex so even though I may have started reading for the promised adorable cinnamon roll moments, the whole plot has thoroughly sucked me in. I'm quite intrigued on who the final Evan suitor will be and I hope we get a release date on Book # 3 ASAP.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best fantasy series I've read

I loved the first book but this one was even better. This whole world is so imaginative. Maddox is my favorite character and I loved that he was finally able to open up and actually show his fear for Evan's safety and agonize over the loss of some of his knights. I was in tears after reading that. I'm not real fond of harem stories but I think the author has handled this well and I find I'm not squicked out over it. All of the characters are well done and add much to the story. My biggest regret is that we have to apparently wait until November of next year for the next book in the series.

Evan and his men are absolutely perfect, and I could read about them allllll day every day!
I love that there's no angst and that it's such a easy going and cute story.
I love the relationship dynamic between all of them and how trusting and honest they all are with each other and cute little Evan is the piece that ties them all together!
The storyline and plot are so interesting, and I'm excited to see what will be revealed in the next book about Evan's real family, and I have so many guesses in my head as to what will happen next I'm so impatient ????
And Kuya and Prince Sawyer need a love story too, I swear ????
This has become one of my top favorite books/series ever!

We're back with Evan, Maddox, and Briar! We see a lot more of Lake and are introduced to another love interest.
Of course, we were all dying for more Kuya! He's trying so hard to be happy as Prince Sawyer is being forced to find a wife. My heart broke for him so many times, yet he still brings joy to the page.
There are some new interesting characters popping up in various places as well as more page time with old favorites like everyone's favorite cinnamon roll knight, Callum.
Get ready to learn more about where Evan comes from too! We learn about one half of his parentage and I have a theory about his father.
I can't wait until book 3!
