Kenny is the narrator and it's just like sitting there listening to him tell his story. I was captivated from the very beginning and was sorry to hear the book end.
If you are a Kenny Chesney fan and you don't have or haven't read the book, then you are missing out. He had me in tears in part of the book. Where he talks about the tragedies in his life and how they affected him and his music. Where the dogs passed away. And several other times. In his story telling you can hear and feel the emotions . If you want to learn more about this superstar Kenny Chesney. I would strongly suggest that you get the audiobook so that he can tell you his story his way. As someone who is a dedicated fan starting in the early days of his career, I remember, or was aware of, many of the events he tells about, but I didn't know the behind-the-scenes details. I find hearing those details both interesting and fun! I have laughed out loud several times so far, and I have relived my own memories of the fun times I had with my friends over the years of going to see Kenny. If you are a fan, you will enjoy this book; if you aren't but are interested in the music business, you will like this book, if you just want to know how/why he had become a super star, you will like this book!
