- Connie (Shows) WilliamsUnforgettable. Samson steals the show.I went in expecting a solid sequel, but I honestly think this is the best entry in the franchise. It’s tense and brutal with purpose, and unexpectedly emotional. The Samson storyline is the standout for me; there’s so much dread, but there’s humanity underneath it too. It’s compelling, unsettling, and oddly heartbreaking. The atmosphere is immersive, and the pacing is relentless. This story has real weight, and it sticks with you after the credits. Strongly recommend.

Akin to the original, the film explores positive and toxic masculinity, alongside the power of hope and found family. The scene in act 3 is really energizing! The film ends with enough questions and cliffhangers to leave us hopeful for a third and final installment to the 28YL trilogy.

Anyways.. It was a great movie, hopefully they will finish the third of this trilogy..So much to say , but I hate any sort of spoilers to reviews. I came into this as a long time avid fan to the original 28 days..It brought new ideas but still you could feel that same essence connecting you to the first one. - Lydia johnsonGreat Film!This movie is a fantastic follow up to 28 Years Later. It builds on the story and characters set up in the first one. Some fantastic themes and great acting. Anyone who thinks a movie is trash before seeing the film is just silly. 8/10 Worth seeing and purchasing.
