- JopomShoveling exterior steps? Get thisOne thing I have in common with my sister's place, we both live on the second floor of our buildings with exterior step entrances (expect mine have a u-turn landing halfway up). Using big clunky shovels is a big pain in the behind. So I bought 2 of these. If they didn't work then I'd give them to my nephew and nieces.
They work perfectly! It's so easy to shovel our steps now. Her steps have risers on the back of them, mine don't, and yet these shovels work great for both. Not only that but they are small enough for putting in a corner or being a door. Sturdy little guys too. Both my sister and I are happy I bought them. I'm awesome, what can I say. - Catherine A. It is very sturdy and easy to use like the bigger version I have for myself, not a back breaker. I have sons who are 12 and can still use it as well as an adult daughter who helped out with it a bit because we only have one larger shovel. A great buy and very handy.

This doesn't really matter to me as it is a kid's shovel which won't be a productive mover of snow anyway. Anyone expecting a "Durable Galvanized Steel Wear Strip" on the leading shovel edge will be disappointed.

This shovel is my premier garden tool. I use it for pick ups of leaves, mulch, picked weeds, etc.
It's much easier to handle than a long handled shovel and the straight edge makes for clean pickups. It's a convenient dust pan also. - E. - Kathleen GentI was disappointed with this shovel.I got this for Christmas for my granddaughter because she likes to help when we shovel snow. For the price, I expected something much sturdier. The red shovel part is not very thick and seems brittle, it looks like it would break if you tried to use it on hard-packed or icy snow. The shovel is held onto the PVC handle with a single staple on the back. The D-grip is very narrow and rounded, making it awkward to hold. And the grip is black, not red, a minor factor, but still, it's not as cute. When I saw a much better shovel at my local grocery store for only $5.50, I decided to send this one back. Amazon's return process was easy and quick.
