- EricaThis looks Lavish and is all around Amazing!This iTRUSOU Portable Induction Cooktop works Amazingly and it genuinely has improved certain experiences in my life!
It is a Fantastic size and looks so lavish! It is very convenient and helpful for many different outings, (*i.e.~camping, Party at the park, Outdoor Food Events with my kiddos and/or friends & family!). Its surface is so sleak and good at controling heat distribution. Its size can fot extra large pans to extra dmall pans and that is fantastic!
As a mother and entrepreneur, I rely on outings for alot and so this Cooktop has been a stapel in my hostess repitouar!
Its very easy to clean, Lovvve that!! Lol
Its very strong, stabel, and durable!
The cord is a fantastic length, it's very practical without over doing it. It heats quickly and looses heat just as your averge glass top stove at home, its brillant!

I got it to test out induction cooking over gas and to have a portable cooktop. While I was sad to find that most of my cookware does not work on induction after all, those that did pleasantly surprised me. This device has very good temperature control, better than standard electric in my experience, and has the option of using a number of set-and-forget presets or manual use. I liked it in particular on hotter days during my test period, because there was no excess heat radiating into the kitchen from the hob, only the pot and the food. The heating was even as well. Definitely impressed!
- WolfyGood quality and fast heating portable induction cooktopInduction cooking is great. I found this cooktop heated up water very quickly, probably faster than gas range burner. As usual with induction cooking, some pots and pans work better than others.
This portable cooktop is different than other induction cooktops I have used. This cooktop is entirely oriented with specific temperature settings. With my other induction cooktops, you specify a setting value from 1-10. It took me a bit to get used to setting a temperature instead. To help with this, this cooktop shows two temperature displays at the same time. One for the desired temp the other for the current temp.
This cooktop has “mode” settings. The mode settings are really just preset default temperatures and they can be tweaked from there. I created a table of the modes which I feel should have been included in the instructions. It shows each mode, the default temp setting, and the minimum and maximum temp settings for that mode.

You can enter manual mode by pressing and holding the Mode button for a few seconds. You can adjust from the default setting buy using the -/+ buttons to change the desired temp by 1C/2F. You can also adjust by 10 degrees, if desired. Looking at the table above, why do they have both a Boil and a Steam mode? They appear to be identical.
Once a mode is running the cooktop heats up quickly then shuts off at the desired temperature. As it begins to cool down until it gets about 10F below the desired temp then it powers back up to reach the proper temperature. It repeats this cycling as necessary. That behavior is very common with induction cooktops.
For safety, the cooktop does detect when there is no induction suitable pot or pan on the burner and it responds with an error.
It is easy to clean with a smooth cooktop with no mechanical buttons. The unit has a very solid feel and quite thin. It is also fairly quiet with two cooling fans which turn off after the cooktop cools down. - ObiGreat productThis is a great product, very compact, lightweight, looks great, very easy to use, heats up very fast, 100% recommend
- Literally just a normal dudeA really nice portable induction cooktopI really like using this induction cooktop.
Having all of the presets is nice, but most of the time I ended up just using the manual controls.
The glass top obviously gets warm as you use it, but it cools down in a matter of minutes after you're done using it because of its internal cooling fan.
The wooden table underneath definitely got warm as well, but not enough to cause any damage to the table.
This cooktop definitely produces a hotspot ring where the induction coils are, but that's common for induction cooktops generally, and it's not any worse than other ones that I've used.
The cooktop surface is big enough that I was able to use a 12-in stainless steel pan on it with no problems.
I really like that it has a sensor in the center of the cooktop to detect if the pan is on it and automatically turns the heating off when you remove the pan.
