- M. OtwellGreat book! Just as beautiful as my French books but with a more affordable price! ????Yes, pages are double sided but they are made of good quality paper. The book is sturdy and well binded. Just choose your medium carefully. Meaning don’t try alcohol markers or anything that is known for heavy bleed thru. I have completed two books successfully with no hiccups or bleed thrus using acrylic pens, acrylic markers, gel pens, and even some using coloring pencils. I’m now onto book three! If using coloring pencils I like the prisma brand because it has a nice smooth build up and layering but find my favorite is to use the acrylic pens and markers. I attached a few of the pictures that I have completed. Noting that Baby Simba has altered colors than what the photo suggested. My daughter got a kitten and I changed the colors to match “Frankie’s” color and marking. And removed the blood smear from across his forehead. But really don’t be afraid to step outside the lines, use different colors, try different mediums. Always test out on the back pages before you use on your pictures if you are not sure about bleed thru. Don’t limit yourself, this is your world babe! Take it and make it colorful!!!

If you are looking to use anything aside from colored pencil, this isn't the right book for you. My book came damaged on the back cover and bottom. Sad being the cost of them.
