- Michael dorsoTrue ClassIt’s very interesting to get it behind-the-scenes look of someone as successful as Lou Holtz. What’s even more impressive, Is the quality of the man writing the words . I Have read two of his books and always come way impressed with how genuine he seems . His words are about much more than football.
- Mikileto LovelessGreat read on several frontsI have recommended this book to my son, nephews, and other young acquaintances. Lou shares words of wisdom that are truthful and beneficial to all young men getting started in their career and adult life. Lou has to be one of the great story tellers of all-time. His remembrance of the year he spent on Woody Hayes staff had me laughing out loud.
- gladysGreat readMy grandson recently met Lou at LA Tech which prompted me to buy this book. It was written with so much feeling about real life experiences and a sense of "how did I end up here?" no matter what situation he found himself in. I remember seeing Lou on Johnny Carson and thought he was a great comedian! Well written and definitely true to life.
Gladys Moore - Amazon CustomerThe story behind the manThe tv shows, the winning records, are nothing without the life story behind the person and those they've been able to touch. Tribute to a great life and a great personality. I never knew about his wife's struggles with throat cancer... truly inspiring. Good read, I hope you'll check this out.... worth the time.
