They weigh in correctly and the grip is solid. I bought these to use on my treadmill to step up my cardio workout. They're excellent weights at this price point. I walk at 4.5MPH for 5 minutes and than set the weights down and do 5 without. I do this twice a day for 45 minutes each session. I have noticed about a 25% increase of my calories being burned. At the same time the weights are toning my arms very nicely. I loon forward to this spring when I take them with me on my daily walks outside. I have large hands so I've included a pic of them in my hand.

I purchased the 12 lb weights and really like the durable neoprene coating—it provides a comfortable feel, helps prevent slipping, and protects floors as you set them down. The hex shape is also a nice touch since they don’t roll around.
My only minor downside is the hand grip area. On the 12 lb weights, the grip feels a little big for my hands. I wish it were just slightly smaller so I could get a more secure and comfortable grip, especially during longer workouts.
Overall, these are high-quality dumbbells at a good price. With a slightly slimmer grip, they’d be perfect.
