However, a code must be used every time anyone wants to send a photo and that code is generated from the frame itself, not from the app. The frame’s owner uses settings on the frame, gets a code, and then can share the code with others. Friends/family put the code into the app on their own phone to send photos. Each code expires in 12 hours. People can’t send pictures to the frame whenever they choose to. In our family the frame’s owner plans to generate a new code every couple of weeks to share via a group text. This will allow family members 12 hours to send any new photos.

My mother has had hers for years now and we still add new photos every so often and share what’s new. We just bought my mother in law hers this Christmas and helped her set it up. She loves it! The fact that we can add to it and she doesn’t have to do anything makes it wonderful for her since she is not tech savvy at all. I love that you can change the orientation anytime and adjust brightness and volume. She can see the videos without playing the volume or if she wants she can turn it up. Mostly we just keep the volume off and watch. Our guests love watching and it makes them feel special when they see pictures of themselves or other people they know and recognize. It has been a wonderful conversation starter too! It brings back good memories that we can then share.
