Honestly, one of my main concerns was wearing something comfortable but still clearly masculine—because, let's face it, some athletic shorts feel like they belong in ballet class rather than the gym. Thankfully, these NORTHYARD shorts really nailed it.
Straight out of the package, they felt super lightweight but surprisingly durable. The quick-dry fabric works exactly as promised. Even after a full session of stretching and bending in ways I didn't think possible (ouch, by the way), I stayed cool, dry, and comfortable. They're flexible enough for Pilates but tough enough for basketball or hiking, if that's your thing.
After wearing them once, I immediately went back online to snag another pair. That alone should tell you something. Great shorts, masculine style, solid quality, and perfect for guys stepping out of their comfort zone into Pilates studios everywhere. Highly recommend! - RichGreat workout shortsBought these shorts in 7 different colors and I love them. They’re very comfortable, feel light, dry quick, and are not restrictive around the thighs which is great during leg workouts. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the pocket zipper. While the zipper itself is fine and the pocket size is great, the little cloth flap that acts to cover the zipper tends to get caught in it. So far I’ve been able to just move it around and get it unstuck, but I could see that potentially being an issue later on. This was not a deal breaker for me since I initially got 3 colors and identified this issue but still ordered more because I liked the shorts that much.
