- Faluvegi BalazsNot as good as visual storytelling but very inspirationalI like Attenborough more on video. Visual storytelling with his voice is unmatched quality, and a book can’t beat it by its nature. But he is a very wise author and know how to make up for the lack of visuals. His storytelling is about the (mostly successful) conservation efforts about certain parts of the ocean and ecosystems on shore connected to it. He rarely points fingers but shows positive examples while describing the challenges many people had to face in the past and the whole humanity faces now and even more in the future. This once again a gift from Attenborough, this time a different one, but if you love nature and sea life, you’ll truly appreciate it.
- DudeFantastic bookFantastic book! It describes a place that we MUST protect by leaving it alone

- BogieEye openingOceans is well written with eye popping photography to further enhance the literary work. Having grown up on the East coast of Georgia and spending a great deal of time fishing the Inland Waterways I thought I knew the ocean but clearly was wrong!
