- KG2017Incredibly impressive for the priceI don’t know where to begin with this one. I bought this monitor for travel purposes since it doesn’t need WiFi. I am so impressed not only was this product cheap but it has exceeded my expectations. The two most important things I wanted in this monitor was to be able to click one button to turn the screen on and off while still being able to listen and it not be a struggle at night and to have good enough signal to walk around. This monitor does both things. I have a very nice and expensive monitor at home that is also not on WiFi. It has been a good one as far as simplicity BUT it has been acting up when my phone is around it and just loses signal. So bad that most nights I can’t even have my phone plugged in or it will not work. Literally so silly. And my room is no more than 10 feet away from my kids room. We are directly across the hall from each other, so signal should never be an issue. It’s just an issue when the phone is near by and using the internet (streaming/ socials media or honestly all pages can be cleared and it just be plugged in and still mess it up). I digress, THIS monitor though has a quality image, good noise, good buttons that arent complicated, the sleep feature on the screen that still allows audio when off, and probably many more features I haven’t played with. Frankly, I’m thinking of just switching monitors. For travel purchases I did get a clip on mount for the pack n play and it also worked well, just search mounts that are compatible with this monitor. 10/10 recommend for a non WiFi monitor. Dont go spending money when you don’t need to, save and buy this.
- KassandraMust buy! You won’t regretI love this camera, I have been using since my first born was born. He is already 3 years old so I use it with my 1 year old baby and it still works! The camera is super clear, I love how it moves side to side and up and down. It has to play music; you can control the sound; you can even speak into the camera this has actually helped me from my baby getting scared she wakes up in the middle of night. I definitely recommend this! I also take this camera with me everywhere even when I travel and it has not failed me!

I saw some reviews say about the clicking sound and the camera turning on and off during night mode. And its true , however I found that if you go on VOX and turn it off , it will stop the constant turning off if camera and clicking sound. Good to take off anxiety. and I can hear my baby clear
- Nana H.LOVE this monitorThis is the best baby monitor if you don’t want one that uses WiFi. I don’t want mine connected to the internet, and this one does everything I want. It tells the temperature of the room the camera is in, it has optional eco mode (screen can stay off unless the cameras detected noise above the threshold limit you set - low, medium, or high sensitivity) which I use ALL the time because I don’t want an extension of the kids’ sound machine in my bedroom at night, the volume and brightness is adjustable without having to open some menu to navigate to it, so it’s all easy to control and adjust as needed without having to touch tons of buttons (unlike other monitors I tried). It doesn’t have like HD picture quality, but it’s not bad either. I don’t need to see every booger in my child’s nose to know if they’re doing well or not, so I’m perfectly happy with the picture quality.
The camera control is simple and smooth, the microphone works well on the cameras so my kids can actually understand me (unlike other cameras). The random music options are not anything to brag about, so I wouldn’t get it if you’re trying to bundle a sound machine and a camera in one or something. But for every other reason, you should get this monitor. I can’t rave enough about how simple it is and how perfect it works.
Another bonus, a few months into using it , my parent unit (the screen) had an issue and I contacted Kidsneed support and they guided me in trouble shooting and when it didnt quite work, they sent me a replacement very quickly (it was within the warranty time frame). They were way to work with and very helpful!
If anyone asks me for monitor suggestions, this is it! Get it! - Patricia K. BondHORRIBLE!! DO NOT BUY!!DO NOT BUY!!! If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I don’t normally bother with reviews but this one is so terrible I feel like I have to warn other parents. Volume does NOT WORK!!! Baby could be screaming their head off and you’ll hear the faintest sound possible from the baby monitor even though it has the volume turned up all the way. Also, CONSTANTLY makes clicking sound all night for every movement the baby makes on both the camera in the nursery and the monitor. So even though I’m not alerted when she cries, I’m woken up by the light turning on constantly with a clicking noise from the machine to let me know the baby moved. (She sleeps in a SNOO by the way so she “moves” ALL NIGHT) Just horrible device- I cannot sleep confidently or even go to the other side of the house confidently. I have to sleep with everyone’s door open and in a room close to the baby’s just in case. Oh and the volume signal on the actual screen will get locked and not turn off so while I can’t hear the baby crying, I also can’t see her because the volume notches are covering her eyes. It’s crazy to me that anyone is rating this anything above a 1.
