- SAFE AND SECURE SLEEP SOLUTION: The Original Halo Sleepsack Swaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib, creating a safer sleep environment. Endorsed by hospitals nationwide to promote safe and restful sleep for your baby.
- SOFT AND STRETCHY COTTON: Made from 100% cotton with a double-knit construction, offering a cozy and slightly stretchy feel perfect for swaddling. TOG Rating 1.5 (room temperature of 68°-72°F): Suitable for cooler evenings during spring or fall.
- 3-WAY ADJUSTABLE SWADDLE DESIGN: Generously sized fasteners allow a perfect, customizable fit. Adjust the swaddle for Arms-In to reduce startle reflex, One-Arm-Out hand to face for self-soothing, or Two-Arms-Out to transition to the Halo SleepSack, an easy transition when it’s time to stop swaddling.
- CONVENIENT DIAPER DESIGN An inverted zipper opens from the bottom, allowing easy diaper changes without disturbing your baby’s swaddle. Sleeveless design minimizes overheating risk, while snug arm and neck openings ensure a secure fit.
- SIZE NEWBORN – IDEAL FOR NEWBORNS (6-12 lbs): Specially sized for babies 0-3 months old, weighing 6-12 pounds, and measuring 19-23 inches. Discontinue use when baby begins rolling over or attempting to escape from the swaddle.

- K1717Soft, and BreathableThis is a great swaddle. Easy to use and no complicated folds. 100% cotton so it is breathable and not too hot but keeps baby warm and secure feeling. I think every grandparent or parent who wants to be able swaddle quickly and securely should purchase one.
- BrandonFavourite swaddle! Our newborn hates to sleep with her arms swaddled, we have tried so many different swaddles and the Halo swaddle is the only one she seems to like, while keeping us confident that she’s warm and secure.
- blanca1 week old grandson loves it!!!The HALO 100% Cotton Sleepsack Swaddle has been a lifesaver for our family. It’s truly the only swaddle my 1-week-old grandson loves. He settles quickly, sleeps more soundly, and seems so comfortable in it. The fabric is soft and breathable, and it’s easy to use—highly recommend for newborns!
- Midwest MusicianLove thisThese are amazing. Our baby busts easily out of a muslin blanket swaddle, but the velcro stays put! He can sometimes get his hands up but it still prevents the jerking awake which is the whole point. Strongly recommend. Also note that if you go to the halo website, they have charts of how to dress your baby underneath the sleepsack according to your house temperature, which I found hugely helpful. Be aware when washing these in a machine to attach the velcro and put it in a mesh bag, otherwise it can catch other clothes - the velcro is quite strong.
- BOur Go ToThese sleep sacks have ended up being a newborn staple for us. We had a lot of trouble finding 1.5 tog sleep sacks that were made for newborns. They are easy to put on, wash and dry nicely, and keep our baby a comfortable temperature. The fabric is medium thickness, and feels high quality.
A few things to note:
1. Sizing- the newborn size fit our baby well until about 11lbs 22inches. This was at about 8 weeks old. We upgraded to the 0-6mo size and they fit very nicely.
2. Versatility - our baby hated being swaddled, but the wrap portion secured easily under his arms. The fabric isn’t totally smooth under his back when used this way, but it doesn’t seem to bother him.
3. Zippers - this is the only reason I subtracted a star. The zippers work just fine, but there is no way to know if you’re getting a single zipper that completely disconnects, or the double zipper where you don’t ever have to disconnect and reconnect it. We even got the same pattern in a size up and got a different zipper. I much prefer the double zipper, because lining it up in the dark is a challenge.
4. Warmth - we found the 1.5 tog (68-72F) to be accurate. We sleep with a fan, room temp 68F, and baby just needs a footie pajama and the sleep sack to stay comfortably warm.
5. Washing - just a note, I connect the Velcro tabs behind the sleep sack for washing. This keeps your other clothing from sticking to the Velcro, and allows it to dry without leaving a wet spot from too many layers of fabric.
Edit: I would not purchase the safari print in the 6 months size again. The fabric is too rigid, and I can see the arm holes becoming too small soon. The grey fabric is excellent, stretchy, and soft. - kevinWould recommendSpace theme, exactly like picture. Great product and keeps little one cozy.
- Kim EFavorite of our babyA favorite for our baby. These grow with baby as they reach milestones like rolling. Wish they made them in bamboo but still great.
- Brenda LopezEasy to useThis worked great until my baby didn’t like being swaddled any more and needed to transition to a different TOG.
